@Dexter: if you had omitted the last sentence containing the “wasting of time” and “bullshit” part, you might even have gotten a heart from me - the hint, that you have to play clever as predator (whereas brute force does not work) is really not too bad.
@Weevo: I quite do understand that you are pissed by said parts of Dexters message - as I personally do not value such wording too - on the other hand: do not take that too serious; the problem with chatting is, that you cannot see the face or hear the voice of those who are typing; if you could, maybe you could see, that Dexter did not want to insult you personally at first - at least I think he did not. Maybe Dexter can confirm that.
If you -all- ask me, forget what has been written, shake hands and fire on guys… Predators and soldiers are already waiting for you in the jungle :)
Concerning the discussion: I normally play support with Med Kit + Syringe + Revive Kit. IF the predator let me use all of that, he normally does not win. Nevertheless I (and my team) sometimes still am slaughtered by predators. That indeed happens, if the predator manages to kill us one after another.
Admittedly that just works, if one soldier separates from the others (so that the predator has time to finish him) - which happens quite often with players, who are not used playing with each other.
In a team, which sticks together all the time, the predator has little chance - from my POV. But I think, the case being more frequent is the case were the random generator puts together the fire team - so from my experience, the balancing statistically is not soooo bad…
Nevertheless I agree, that the predator yet is just a thing for very good players - I am not able to control it sensefully…
