Predator: Full health to death sequence by skipping 2nd wind!

So this is the second time this kind of thing happens to me.
Playing as Predator Scout, I have full health,
I haven’t gone to 2nd wind a single time during the match
and in a close encounter with the final 2 members of the FT they take my health to half in 1 second (ok I am used to that) but then a single knife stab and possibly a shot from the other player, straight up killed me by skipping the 2nd wind entirely!

Is this possible with perks / specializations and such or is it a sync issue perhaps?

Nope unfortunately. My PC isnt capable of capturing while playing. Thanks GPU crisis!

Have you tried using software recording like with OBS?

Yeah I use it all the time to capture stuff when not playing.
But I cant use it while playing.
I have a 5 year old PC and its watercooling system is quite problematic.
It overheats easily and since we are in the middle of a GPU crisis I dont want to stress it.
Besides I am having a poor framerate even without recording.

This is the only game that I notice performance issues while recording or streaming. It just is what it is.

I 've noticed that the videos you upload look so much smoother the last couple of months. I envy you so much buddy! hahaha

Yeah I have been playing lately on all Epic Settings, looks better, but I can notice that it affects the fps, more when I stream than when I record though.

Also on the topic of dying despite having the 2nd wind, it has happened to me a few times, well over a year ago I first had that problem.

There are probably multiple recording of that on my channel, one that I remember is this at 13:00 here:

2nd wind available but Predator just dies instantly.

Yeah this game deserves all settings on epic. It really looks gorgeous at times.

I guess since the FT can deliver devastating blows,
it is possible to take you from half health to straight 0 on your 2nd wind bar, but damn man it happened like in less than a sec.

The first time it happened to me (some months ago), I had a sliver of health left, I went to heal, a single FT player followed me, and by shooting me from the back with the pistol 2, 3 times, he killed me, skipping 2nd wind entirely.

Ok…do you have a mesh front panel or airflow case? Also, using high quality termal paste helps too. I have an overclocked i9 9900k and the temps are always below 70c.

No, temps dont exceed 70 degrees since I am using Argus monitor app to force the fans to kick in when it starts getting over 60 degrees.
But like I said framerate is already average even without recording anything and I need every single frame.
