Predator Gear lacking

With the Elder Pred being obtainable now… I noticed that it trades health and mobility for gear and stamina. Am I the only one that prefers having more mobility and health?
There’s not enough gear for Preds to even use all the slots a Berserker can have atm.

And as a sidenote… Both 'zerker and Scout trades far more in their low stats than what they gain in their high stats. Scout is so soft that its nigh unplayable unless you face a bunch of PS4 newbies. And lets face it, 'zerker is not a cardio machine, getting winded after running 20m.

Scout Predator also cannot use all available perk points.

And I personally find them far from useless, I rather enjoy Scout Predator just as it is.

Well assault is clearly superior but I like Arnold just to much…

I’d prefer it if Impenetrable was not a mandatory perk. I think all Preds need more health… Maybe make the Bow slightly easier to hit with, no Fireteam player worth their salt is gonna get hit by the bow very easily.
I’d also be happy if more Pred players did not feel that the netgun is a mandatory choice. I dont like using it, and I hate facing netgun spammers.

I think they are too squishy… A few potshots at random will hit their health hard. And I almost never see any when playing Fireteam. Probably for that reason.
I do enjoy their mobility alot though.

I would not consider Impenetrable mandatory. It is a difference of 3-5 bullets depending on Predator class.

I dropped it on Scout and have not noticed any real difference.

Well, that would explain why it doesnt really make me feel less squishy as a Pred :P

I think the point of the Edler Predator stats is that if you’re someone who has played enough to get to 150, you likely to be halfway decent at the game, so you’ll likely be ok with a class that trades a bit of health/speed for the ability to use more items, thus allowing you to vary your hunting style in a match.

The gear for predator is an absolute joke, he needs so many more options. Only good thing about Elder will be the stamina until the gear choice is improved

scout is the best…what are u talking about?
best mobility and stealth mechanincs…if u go and fight the fireteam wiht your melee…u will die
that s why u need the bow and as secondary (combi, pistol or the disk)…

We will have to wait and see what Elder’s energy consumption is like, and how close it is to Scout for mobility.

I could get behind an almost Scout that also had space for Bear Traps. Not going to lie.

Given that stealth is almost useless… Still get spotted when stationary and crouched and not having taken any damage recently. Stealth only works vs ps4 scrubs basically.
At least I can track a pred by sound only with little difficulty. Dont know about the rest of you. And gear, well… Audio Decoys can fool someone a little bit, Bear Traps are mostly a nuisance and very easy to spot and the Motion Predictor is somewhat useful… and thats all the gear there is for preds.

Pred bodies are kinda weak though… easy to kill.

Fun fact: the smart disc has just barely less health than the Scout Predator itself.
