Predator gold farm

So I downed a fireteam member and his gold bars dropped and as predator I was able to loot his findings is this part of the game mechanic?

There has been just one game where bars of purple things drop from fireteam members. I think its a bug.

If Predator is supposed to be stopping them get away with Veritanium then I think then perhaps Pred should be able to loot corpses and take it at the end of the match.

I think it’s a unfinished mechanic in the game or soon to be one.
