Update: If you preform the Bulit-In Emote again after removing the Mask, Predator will place his Mask back on.

The Back-Bling appears to be different than what was once shown but more accurately reflects the “T-Rex” Skull as shown in Predator 2.

Obviously, his design reflects Jungle Hunter, but there are some differences. His armor is different in some places, has Green Eyes, and Blades are definitely bigger.

It is absolutely stupid because when they put all these different things in it doesn’t normally respect the source material. Like batman running around with a gun mowing people down or predator bunny hopping like a pansy building the Taj Mahal when he gets shot at or Kratos doing cringey dances. Like I get that it’s supposed to just be a bit of fun and you’re supposed to suspend your disbelief but this takes the piss. It’s great that all these franchises get more recognition but I’d wager this is bad recognition.

Yeah, that’s always what bugs me. When I got the Kylo Ren skin, I never used it cuz it didn’t make sense for Kylo to be poppin’ fools with shotguns. At least they made the Predator wrap have a Yautja tech style so that it at least makes a little bit of sense. Some Yautja actually DO use snipers n’ stuff.

Yeah but the snipers they use are their own plasma based snipers. Unless we’re talking about Shane Black’s sick fantasy with fugitive using human guns. It was as stupid in that film as it is in Fortnite imo. And it just doesn’t respect the source material and feels like a cheap way of cashing in on the predator fan base. So kind of like this game really lol.

I mean, it’s still better than what you usually get. It at least makes SOME sense. Predator is one of the only crossover skins that makes at least a little sense having a gun, we even got the wrap making it look better than the other crossover skins having guns.

Yeah but would Predator’s really use bullet based weapons when they have plasma? It just feels wrong imo. Predators are Hunters and I get that the whole theme of this season is hunting but other than the characters it really doesn’t give off that vibe. It still fills like just another battle royale but with a building gimmick and I don’t think Predator belongs in such a game. Say what you will about hunting grounds but at least it has that atmosphere and vibe of predator albeit skewered by the horrible balance.

So it’s either you go completely canon Predator at a disadvantage or you use different bullets. I’d rather use the different bullets.

Also, some Yautja have orange-ish plasma blasts, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they had orange plasma bullets, either.

Yeah but to what end is it going to go? Are they going to throw in Michael Myers next? Freddy Krueger? It would be fucking ridiculous. There are some you can get away with like Marvel, Master Chief etc. But then there’s Batman, Kratos, Predator. They do not belong in a game like that. I mean imagine if Dead By Daylight started adding Care Bears, My Little Pony and Tinkerbell. It would just absolutely stupid. But because Fortnite is popular they get a pass for adding in crap that doesn’t belong.

If you like it then I’m glad but as for me I’m sticking with hunting grounds because at least I won’t have to see Predators flossing and running around with Uzi’s or whatever. I’ll just have to put up with them dropping like flies instead.
