before specializations, ft damage felt like it was close 50% lower.

The real funny part about that even with damage being lowered by 50% a single ft did a lot of damage.

But I didnt extensively test it, because I was kinda done with the game at that point.

It was obvious illfonic didnt care so I gave up.

I still remember they added specs for Fireteam first , and then after like 2 months they give predator specialization lol

There is no definitive manual to winning.
But many of you are angry that there is not.
If there were and all of us were AI, then the point of seeing the accuracy of everything is helping illfonic develop an AI manual. Which should exist except that nobody really wanted this game to be an AI driven game!

Thats the irony of game development. They dont want to develop something so easily that it would put them out of jobs.

If this game were perfectly mathematically symettrically balaced, they wouldn’t have a Peer to peer game. You could literally play this game with AIs where every one would have exceptional balance in every single crack of loadout and class configuration. With random happenings which would be challenged by a calculated AI tactic.
My point is AI is very powerful. If it weren’t a choas of shitheads playing the game, then we wouldn’t be here playing it every day! hense being given either advantages or disadvantages based on dumbass play tactics.

an AI wouldn’t forget to do this or that, but a Joe Blow would forget on any given sunday.

I hope that nobody forgets that if they develop this game to ends where drunken FT members have a possbiliy to do something that will explode the predator at will, they could probably do it when drunk.
So there is no point in saying ‘lets just keep adding small stuff to make this game balanced where people who are stupid drunk can keep getting their powertrip on’.
FT or predator there are a number of random occurances that makes shit unbalanced or balanced for any combination of loadout or drunkeness!

I’m not a game maker or a dev to start fixing everything on this game , cuz I really can’t ! I don’t have access to game files LOL
Players can only show devs the issue on the game and give them some idea to change the game in a good way

What about all the randoms out there who play solo 100% of the times? Can you imagine how boring it may be for an average Pred win almost all of his matches? And on top of that, Illfonic still buffing Pred?

I absolutely agree with you that when you face a good FT on private matches, it’s completely umbalanced for FT side. But, at least, on privates you can customize it until you find a good way of play…

Have you played any good game that kept you away from any other game? shit man, i can gripe with the Evil dead but people will just play it because its fresh. It will be gone in month I swear! How about you? How many months will it take before it becomes stale?
There is a problem with it from a design stand point that I can already gripe with and I haven’t even played it. But I can tell the loop keeps you much like PHG did. and its small dribblings. it will be a problem of budget and investors. again this has budget written all over it.
dont get me wrong, its smack dab pretty but so are alot of budget games. But Evil dead gets you hooked on a few franchise things but it will be a short grind.

Problem with games is that companies still try to lure people with small shittlings.
For a guy who reads books, this is more a problem of grind vs cultural effect.

I don’t want to be lured to play grind games. I want to be lured for culture.

I don’t mind taking a break from a game for a month. I do mind when i come back to it, that it has not much culture or story to offer.

Like you know…after so many months that I’m just grinding for a fancy hat cosmetic.

where as another game is offering a story DLC after several months o fuck all.
