Predator hologram gadget

Means to say 4 or 5. I’m not sure about the number, but i feel like there should be limited.

I guess another option is to make it drain energy, but upon reaching the time limit, the energy would almost be drained. Otherwise infinite energy builds would make it always available.

I also though about how it could make claims tricky. If pred is claiming, a hologram would be created for the pred and the FT who’s being claimed. But perhaps that’s too much

Only if he has a xenomorph inside him. If FT doesn’t kill him in time (he should be tanky), then chestburster will come out and in 2 minutes time a full fledged xeno will appear 😂

I like that idea too. Dogs to attack FT and hunt boars for the Pred and itself to regenerate.

A bit, but it’s not destructable, mobile, is on a time limit. As @MassImpact124 noted, the basic idea is that of total recall holograms with modifications to be more useful for gameplay mechanics.

Not sure about being active during second wind as I feel it would make healing too easy. It is a cool idea though, keeping it under 6 or 7 seconds is reasonable too.

Thanks. I’m not sure about second wind use either, but just wanted it out there. Maybe it seems like a very strong item with everything mentioned so taking only certain parts would make it more fair.

Had an idea for another pred gadget. A teleporter provided by the pred ship.

Basically pred can create a marker to where he would like to be instantly teleported in times of danger or just to fast travel.

Would be able to create markers twice per game.

When a second marker is deployed, the first one is automatically destroyed.

The marker becomes visible to FT, and an indicator of it’s location appears, once pred teleports. The marker can be destroyed by FT once it becomes visible.

Can be used to fast travel to another base, to a dead pig, or just to escape a pursuit.

Ik theres people hopeful illfonic will suddenly recode AI to not be trash and dogs play the game for them but no most likely not esp with balancing for ps4 x and y axis potatoes shooting at sprinting things below head level.

Might as well just have a gear item to trigger camp alarms, atleast the AI can reliably shoot and do damage instead of just running at 90 degree angles and staring.

AI can’t even navigate around trees or path to an alarm with something infront of it - much less a dog trying to reach someone standing on a crate.
or pursue anyone sprinting (knife out 360 no scoping your jank AI waste of a gear slot ohohoho) at any level of complexity.

Best case scenario dogs would function like yet another slow piloted drone but I dont see them putting in new enemy assets anyways.

The less AI in this game, the better. Not the devs strong suit at all. I’m not sure why people think illfonic can code bots or some kind of fleshed out campaign mode either when this game is built around the most barebones AI wave spawners.

Thematically thats just weird. They land and walk down the ramp like normal fictional space hunters. Next we start beaming up FT and boars.

That’s a great idea. To beam an FT somewhere up high so he has to take fall damage just to get down 😂. Or to beam him into a glitch
