Theoretically there could be such a thing on a per map basis. Does anyone else believe one can be made like a step-by-step walkthrough? I believe the process is fairly logical. The only challenge factor is how your time in each match is used. The point of this strategy guide is to be able to follow each to step and be successful of at engaging the FT in combat regardless if it is a win. Weapons strategy is another guide.
If im honest I’ve played all but three matches in the three months the game had been release and this is by choice. Some public, some private. All of which were OK at best. Most were me just trying to find where the FT are and by that time, they’ve already EXFILed. I think a personal strategy guide publish by someone might benefit ALL who venture into the jungle as Yautja. It would be a good read, ultimately until Matchmaking times decrease, I think ppl should be prepared.
So I propose a map and strategy based guide that explores every nook and cranny of each map regardless of the hypothetical missions FT is going through.
ie.
Derailed.
- All possible spawn points indicated and reach vantage points to observe any FT activity in any given Stargazer camp.
- First 10 seconds probably the most important seconds of the match. Locate the FT using Audio Analysis, Leap towards the location (how to leap and not get disorientated…or just run, b-lines, using roof tops)
- Kill any NPCs as to not alert the FT of your location.
- After steps 1-3 Assume Stealth tactics until FT are in your radius
- Make a decision in the hunt: Taunt or Go for the Kill
Taunt:—distract using audio decoys like Predators Audio devices or use explosive cans/gasoline and then move on to hide positions…Also visual indicators like Plasma Casters can signal your presence,
or Go for the Kill:— and bait…
–Currently I’ve seen weapons guides on youtube and weapons techniques not comprehensives of how to hunt but I assume ppl here are advantageous and would probably like to keep these techniques to themselves.
What are your thoughts?
I also believe that when more maps are released (and I’m not doubting that there will be more than one in all of 2020) there will be more of a need to analyze these maps like an itinerary and prepare for the hunt. You can’t go into these maps like you’re hunting rabbits or deer.
Final note: I’m afraid if someone publishes where the Predator should be looking, they are also giving away where the FT should be hiding. Hense, if a FT member reads it, they will know how to counter all of this.
