Seems like it’s not even worth talking about but nothing goes on around here so fuck it
There are some things that are off such as the validity of killing AI’s as a category, the maps not actually specifying mission for solo wins and coop wins, and being genially behind with updates which is fine, I don’t think anyone really has motivation to keep up with stuff
Theres a lot of missions so it would’ve been interesting to how fast other missions can be completed or have been completed in the past and there are a lot
[Overgrowth]
Mission 1 - Fuel Cutoff
"Guerrilla forces are buying massive fuel shipments from an elusive black market contact. We’re sending you in to find the fuel stores and destroy them. This should disrupt operations in the area for the foreseeable future. Once the fuel has been dealt with, find the black market operative and take them off the board.",
Mission 2 - Exposure
"We’ve received intel that suggests Stargazer has established itself as a data broker for various cartels, guerrilla factions, and other paramilitary groups. We’re sending you in to download evidence off their equipment so we can out them for what they really are.",
Mission 3 - Dirty Water
"Civilians at the river’s mouth have reported symptoms that mirror those of a military-grade neurotoxin reported missing by disavowed project “Stargazer”. Obtain water samples upriver and exploit local assets to confirm the source of the contamination. Recon drones have identified two camps with possible manufacturing capabilities. Utilize the camp facilities to analyze your samples. Once confirmed, stop any further contamination and eliminate all responsible parties.",
Mission 4 - Solar Sabotage
"Guerrillas in the area have received substantial financial backing in order to build an expensive solar power network. Our techs have uncovered a fatal flaw in the power system that could allow us to turn it into a very expensive hunk of scrap. Exploiting this flaw correctly will permanently brick the entire system, so let’s do this one by the numbers.",
Mission 5 - Safe Hunt/Safe and Sorry
"A Stargazer captain has intel on a number of VIP’s friendly to our operation. Given the nature of the intel, it’s likely that Stargazer plans to blackmail these individuals, which leaves us vulnerable. So, this is a black bag operation: Eliminate the Stargazer captain, obtain his safe credentials, and destroy the intel.",
Mission 6 - Weapons Destruction/ Weapon Destruction
"Intel suggests a shipment of advanced weaponry is being shipped from a remote guerrilla camp. We’re not sure why, but our money’s on using the guerrilla camps to avoid suspicion while they find a buyer. We don’t know who procured the weapons or who’s buying them, but nothing good can come from it.",
Mission 7 - Bug in the System
"We’ve been tracking members of former intelligence project “Stargazer” and intel suggests they’re working to link local bases to their global network. We have a short window to upload malware onto that network and create a backdoor into their system. Before that window closes, your team must establish terminal access, disable security countermeasures, and confirm the upload is complete.",
Mission 8 - Family Ties/Fractured Bloodline
"A valuable Stargazer operative has gone dark. Intel has his last known whereabouts somewhere in this valley. With such a low profile, hunting him down would be impractical. Instead, we’re going to make him come to us. Everyone has pressure points. We’ve found something important to him, so all we have to do is squeeze.",
Mission 9 - Drug Blaze
"Normally, narcotics wouldn’t be on our radar, but we’ve been receiving troubling intel on a number of unidentified substances being trafficked in the area. The samples we’ve recovered have dangerous chemical compositions with unknown effects for purposes we don’t yet understand. Your orders are to gather any and all intel on their formulas and then destroy them and the latest shipment of narcotics.",
Mission 10 - The Drug Lord
"Stargazer is paying a particularly violent drug lord to destabilize the region by flooding it with cheap narcotics. If we don’t intervene, we’re looking at a full blown economic collapse. If Stargazer’s play relies on the drug lord, then we take him off the board.",
Mission 11 - Toxic
"To find out where these drugs are going and identify the buyers, we need to map the drug trafficking network in real time. We’re sending you in with dummy bricks containing GPS beacons. Swap the real bricks with the trackers, then get out.",
Mission 12 - Brilliance Among Ruin
"After the recent military coup, a number of important cultural artifacts were reported stolen by the new acting government. To avoid embarrassment, they want these artifacts returned by any means necessary. A buyer from the old regime has been identified, so we need to recover these artifacts ASAP.",
[Backwater]
Mission 13 - Drug Destructive
"Guerrilla forces have occupied a fishing village and setup a distribution node for drugs and weapons. Your orders are to liberate the village and destroy any drugs or supplies brought in by the guerrillas. We don’t want anyone else setting up shop.",
Mission 14 - Boat Tracking
"A coastal fishing village has been occupied by a drug trafficking operation with ties to international smuggling networks. To map out this network, we need to know what’s coming in, where it’s going, who’s shipping it, and to whom. Infiltrate the village, bug it with a surveillance package, then connect that package to our satellite feed.",
Mission 15 - Going Dark
"Stargazer has set up a deep surveillance operation in the coastal jungle. Within that operation is a database of sensitive intel that we can’t allow to hit the black market. The location of the database has been difficult to pin down, so your orders are to identify its location and destroy the base before they release anything that can compromise us or our allies.",
Mission 16 - Tainted Livestock
"Reports of diseased and poisoned livestock have revealed a drug smuggling operation wherein pigs are being used as couriers. The drugs are killing the pigs and poisoning the local population. This is a hearts and minds mission, Voodoo. Time to do some good.",
Mission 17 - Dirty Money
"Guerrilla forces have consolidated their stockpiles of cash before distributing payments across their network. We have a chance to hit the guerrillas in their wallet. Your orders are to intercept the stockpile, collect samples for tracing, tag others for tracking, and then burn the rest.",
Mission 18 - Drop Pod
"Stargazer has established a major radar station with the capability to transmit massive amounts of data across their satellite network. Rather than take the station out, your orders are to infiltrate the facility and install hardware that will allow us to tap all transmissions in and out of their systems. We don’t know exactly what kind of tech they're using, so after you ID the system, we’ll send you the correct hardware to install.",
Mission 19 - False Positive
"A member of Stargazer’s leadership has moved into the open, which gives us an opportunity to take them out. While the intel is solid, we’re not sure exactly where this guy is. We’re equipping you with a AI-driven voice modulator that should be able to fake a voice sampled from their radio chatter. Once you flush him out, take him down and retrieve his security token, then access their operational database and purge him from their records. We don’t just want him dead, we want him to disappear.",
Mission 20 - Halted Shipment
"A known narcotics manufacturer has shifted their resources into research and development, producing a number of experimental drugs. We need to halt production before any working prototypes hit the market. Your orders are to wipe any internal data they might have, while planting a trojan into their system that will continue to destroy new records after you’ve gone. Be sure to destroy any shipments of the experimental drugs on your way out.",
Mission 21 - Substation Sabotage
"Since before Stargazer was disavowed, the organization has managed to maintain a significant satellite communications network. After substantial orbital recon, Technical has uncovered a flaw in Stargazer’s satellite array that would allow us to send a reset command throughout the system, setting their entire network to factory default. That alone would set them back years, but if we take out the mastermind who designed the system as well, who knows how long they’ll be in the dark.",
Mission 22 - Weapons Truck
"Stargazer is moving weapons to support a local coup. Whatever interests they may have in supporting this operation is unknown. However, any Stargazer intervention in government affairs is cause for action. Your orders are to ascertain the scope of the shipment and then blow it to hell.",
Mission 23 - Pulling Plugs
"A large Stargazer installation has been discovered. We’re not sure why they picked this location, but with tensions high in the area, the government has asked us to weaken their position so conventional forces can knock them out. Your orders are simple, Voodoo. Go loud.",
Mission 24 - Breaking Point
"Years ago, the local government invested in a hydroelectric system. Guerrilla forces have now diverted the outflow pipeline of said system to irrigate the crops they use to produce narcotics. We’ve been cleared to drop into the area and remove the forces exploiting the pipeline by any means necessary.",
[Derailed]
Mission 25 - Stolen Goods
"A close ally, and source of funding, had an extremely valuable heirloom stolen. The thief in question was killed in a train accident attempting to flee the region. This might seem outside our scope, but every once in a while we’ve got to keep the VIPs happy. If we’re lucky, the heirloom was destroyed in the crash and this will be a very short mission.",
Mission 26 - Liquid Gold
"Due to a recent train accident, locals are incapable of resuming the trade of commodities. Specifically, a tanker of crude oil is ready to ship once the wreckage is cleared. Unfortunately, guerrilla soldiers have secured the area. We’re allocating extra choppers to lift the tanker out of the trainyard. This is something of a humanitarian mission, so let’s make it count.",
Mission 27 - Suspicious Cargo
"Stargazer has managed to secure a rare piece of tech that will be of significant benefit to their research. We’ve got a short window to secure this tech for ourselves. Intel is light in this one, so we’ll be figuring this one out as we go. Good luck.",
Mission 28 - Amassed Destruction
"Guerrilla forces have been procuring materials for what we now believe is a high-yield chemical bomb. If technical has this right, the bomb would kill everything in its blast radius while also poisoning the soil so nothing could ever grow in it again. The motives behind the bomb are unclear, though this detonation is likely a weapons test. Your orders are to find the bomb and neutralize it.",
Mission 29 - Fire from the Heavens
"Guerrillas contracted through Stargazer have established a foothold in the region. We’d like to use this opportunity to let Stargazer know we’re not to be fucked with. Technical has been itching to test a weapons platform they’ve recently placed in orbit. The targeting is still off, so we’ll want to access on-site transmitters to get a fix on our target. Should be fun though.",
Mission 30 - The Traitor
"One of our agents has defected to Stargazer, taking a substantial amount of sensitive information with him. We tracked the agent down to a Stargazer facility, but now he’s out of pocket. Your orders are to deploy into the area and track down the traitor before he can be debriefed. Use of lethal force is authorized.",
Mission 31 - Jammed Up
"One of our surveillance sites has, essentially, gone dark. We’re receiving a signal from the site, but the quality is down to 15%. We don’t have eyes down there, so we’re dispatching your team in case the worst case scenario is in play. Find out what’s wrong and sort it out.",
Mission 32 - Drug Bust
"We’ve been taking out drug ops across the region, but more always take their place. Until we have a better long-term solution, the best thing we can do is keep up the fight and take out their operations wherever we find them. Such a target has been identified and your team is being dispatched to wipe it out.",
Mission 33 - Fools Gold
"A guerrilla group found an investor willing to pay them in gold bars. While the market fluctuates, that gold is still incredibly valuable. That payment is en route, but we’re aware of a checkpoint they’ll be hitting beforehand where we can swap the bars for fakes. If we do this right, it will look like a double-cross and no matter who comes out on top, we win.",
Mission 34 - Counterfeit Funds
"We’ve been tracking a counterfeiting operation that has destabilized the region’s economy over the last few months. We’ve tracked the counterfeit bills to a guerrilla group operating out of the jungle. While we’re not sure how they managed to get their hands on a press, we’re certain they’ve only got the one. Get evidence, destroy the press, and track down any other shipments of counterfeit bills that might be at large.",
Mission 35 - Clean Sweep
"Guerrilla forces have established a communication’s outpost in the area. Standard op, eliminate the guerrilla threat, destroy their communications capabilities, and set up our own surveillance package. Keep your eyes open and an ear to the ground. It’s the simple ones that go south fast.",
Mission 36 - The Popular Crowd
"Three high-ranking Stargazer operatives have been moving through the area completing ops with a concerning success rate. Our intel on the three is spotty, but we do know they’ve employed extreme and violent methods to carry out Stargazer’s agenda. We’ve already lost two teams in pursuit of these targets, so, to be clear, this mission is not to be taken lightly. Eliminate the targets by any means necessary.",
Excavation
Mission 37 - Pulling Plugs/Complete Cut Off
"A large Stargazer installation has been discovered. We’re not sure why they picked this location, but with tensions high in the area, the government has asked us to weaken their position so conventional forces can knock them out. Your orders are simple, Voodoo. Go loud.",
Mission 38 - The Ancients
"We just got wind of a rather large discovery from a Stargazer excavation site. I don’t think they really know what they've found, but we have reason to believe it contains some extremely valuable alien technology. Although some may just be human artifacts, the intel we are working with correlates with a possible ancient encounter with Predators. Voodoo, you need to get on site, find out where this discovery is, and take these items for our research.",
Mission 39 - Drug Lord
"Stargazer is paying a particularly violent drug lord to destabilize the region by flooding it with cheap narcotics. If we don't intervene, we're looking at a full blown economic collapse. If Stargazer’s play relies on the drug lord, then we take him off the board.",
Mission 40 - Drug Blaze/The Burning Notice
"Normally, narcotics wouldn't be on our radar, but we've been receiving troubling intel on a number of unidentified substances being trafficked in the area. The samples we’ve recovered have dangerous chemical compositions with unknown effects for purposes we don't yet understand. Your orders are to gather any and all intel on their formulas and then destroy them and the latest shipment of narcotics.",
Mission 41 - Fools Gold/Shifty Business
"A guerrilla group found an investor willing to pay them in gold bars. While the market fluctuates, that gold is still incredibly valuable. That payment is en route, but we’re aware of a checkpoint they’ll be hitting beforehand where we can swap the bars for fakes. If we do this right, it will look like a double-cross and no matter who comes out on top, we win.",
Mission 42 - Compromise of Safety
"A Stargazer captain has intel on a number of VIP’s friendly to our operation. Given the nature of the intel, it’s likely that Stargazer plans to blackmail these individuals, which leaves us vulnerable. So, this is a black bag operation: Eliminate the Stargazer captain, obtain his safe credentials, and destroy the intel.",
Mission 43 - The Cache
"With the increased amount of Predator appearances on earth, Stargazer has begun to get their hands on some extremely valuable pieces of tech. While we don’t know the full extent of their plans, we know it relates to researching hybrid weaponry for the black market. We need to get in there and take back everything they found. That way we can thwart their efforts and make sure our scientists can keep building our prototypes. The last thing we want is Stargazer bringing illegal weaponry to the highest bidder...",
Mission 44 - Jump Drive
"A mysterious signature hit one of our long range scanners recently. We have reason to believe Stargazer has secured a very rare part to a Predator ship judging by the signal strength. I don't know how they got this thing, but we need to go in and get it before they can do anything substantial. Intel was able to get a general location, but you will need to do a majority of the tracking for this object on the ground. Get in there, start satcom syncing, and find out where they are hiding it.",
Mission 45 - Fire from the Heavens/Sky Torch
"Guerrillas contracted through Stargazer have established a foothold in the region. We'd like to use this opportunity to let Stargazer know we're not to be fucked with. Technical has been itching to test a weapons platform they’ve recently placed in orbit. The targeting is still off, so we'll want to access on-site transmitters to get a fix on our target. Should be fun though.",
Mission 46 - Jammed Up/Total Interference
"One of our surveillance sites has, essentially, gone dark. We’re receiving a signal from the site, but the quality is down to 15%. We don’t have eyes down there, so we’re dispatching your team in case the worst case scenario is in play. Find out what’s wrong and sort it out.",
Mission 47 - Weapons Truck/Unauthorized Transport
"Stargazer is moving weapons to support a local coup. Whatever interests they may have in supporting this operation is unknown. However, any Stargazer intervention in government affairs is cause for action. Your orders are to ascertain the scope of the shipment and then blow it to hell.",
Mission 48 - Discovery
"News has reached us that Stargazer has successfully secured a Predator body. After some consideration, we decided that attempting to remove the body would prove too risky. Our plans are to infiltrate, track down, and destroy any evidence of its existence. Before we do, let’s make sure we secure as much related research data and objects as possible.",
Airstrip
Mission 49 - Fractured Bloodlines/Cutting Ties
"A valuable Stargazer operative has gone dark. Intel has his last known whereabouts somewhere in this valley. With such a low profile, hunting him down would be impractical. Instead, we’re going to make him come to us. Everyone has pressure points. We’ve found something important to him, so all we have to do is squeeze.",
Mission 50 - Exposure/Data Leak
"We’ve received intel that suggests Stargazer has established itself as a data broker for various cartels, guerrilla factions, and other paramilitary groups. We’re sending you in to download evidence off their equipment so we can out them for what they really are.",
Mission 51 - Amassed Destruction/Crisis Aversion
"Guerrilla forces have been procuring materials for what we now believe is a high-yield chemical bomb. If technical has this right, the bomb would kill everything in its blast radius while also poisoning the soil so nothing could ever grow in it again. The motives behind the bomb are unclear, though this detonation is likely a weapons test. Your orders are to find the bomb and neutralize it.",
Mission 52 - Tech Extraction
"Heads up, Fireteam. Earlier today, we had a chopper extract some pred tech we stole from one of Stargazer's nearby outposts. Unfortunately, Stargazer managed to find and damage the chopper mid extraction and we've lost contact with the pilot. Judging by the last transmissions, we expect it to crash somewhere in the local area, if it hasn't already. I know you've just come off of another operation, but this is very important and we really need you to take care of this before we bring you home.",
Mission 53 - Going Dark/Down and Out
"Stargazer has set up a deep surveillance operation in the jungle. Within that operation is a database of sensitive intel that we can’t allow to hit the black market. The location of the database has been difficult to pin down, so your orders are to identify its location and destroy the base before they release anything that can compromise us or our allies.",
Mission 54 - Suspicious Cargo/ One Sweet Deal
"Stargazer has managed to secure a rare piece of tech that will be of significant benefit to their research. We’ve got a short window to secure this tech for ourselves. Intel is light in this one, so we’ll be figuring this one out as we go. Good luck.",
Mission 55 - Drug Bust/Up in Flames
"We’ve been taking out drug ops across the region, but more always take their place. Until we have a better long-term solution, the best thing we can do is keep up the fight and take out their operations wherever we find them. Such a target has been identified and your team is being dispatched to wipe it out.",
Mission 56 - The Other Mole
"It seems Stargazer has a defective captain among its ranks. We have intel on him that states he's been collecting Stargazer's research on the Predator and selling it to a third party. Word is, he's trying to strike a deal with them again today. This's our chance to strike and take him in. Who knows how much information we can get out of him. Our scientists will certainly be happy.",
Mission 57 - Dirty Money/Cash Crowd
"Guerrilla forces have consolidated their stockpiles of cash before distributing payments across their network. We have a chance to hit the guerrillas in their wallet. Your orders are to intercept the stockpile, collect samples for tracing, tag others for tracking, and then burn the rest.",
Mission 58 - False Positive/Smooth Talk
"A member of Stargazer’s leadership has moved into the open, which gives us an opportunity to take them out. While the intel is solid, we’re not sure exactly where this guy is. We’re equipping you with a AI-driven voice modulator that should be able to fake a voice sampled from their radio chatter. Once you flush him out, take him down and retrieve his security token, then access their operational database and purge him from their records. We don’t just want him dead, we want him to disappear.",
Mission 59 - No Service
"Inside information just gave us intel on an extremely high value Stargazer target, but we need to act fast. We have the location and clearance to move in and terminate. Since this is all moving fast, I have pretty limited details to send over, but can get you more after touch down. Keep your heads on straight, Fireteam, and let's make sure we make this clean.",
Mission 60 - Counterfeit Funds/Bad Cash
"We’ve been tracking a counterfeiting operation that has destabilized the region’s economy over the last few months. We’ve tracked the counterfeit bills to a guerrilla group operating out of the jungle. While we’re not sure how they managed to get their hands on a press, we’re certain they’ve only got the one. Get evidence, destroy the press, and track down any other shipments of counterfeit bills that might be at large.",
[Headquarters]
Mission 61 - Pulling Plugs
"A large Stargazer installation has been discovered. We’re not sure why they picked this location, but with tensions high in the area, the government has asked us to weaken their position so conventional forces can knock them out. Your orders are simple, Voodoo. Go loud.",
Mission 62 - Jammed Up
"One of our surveillance sites has, essentially, gone dark. We’re receiving a signal from the site, but the quality is down to 15%. We don’t have eyes down there, so we’re dispatching your team in case the worst case scenario is in play. Find out what’s wrong and sort it out.",
Mission 63 - The Cache
"With the increased amount of Predator appearances on earth, Stargazer has begun to get their hands on some extremely valuable pieces of tech. While we don’t know the full extent of their plans, we know it relates to researching hybrid weaponry for the black market. We need to get in there and take back everything they found. That way we can thwart their efforts and make sure our scientists can keep building our prototypes. The last thing we want is Stargazer bringing illegal weaponry to the highest bidder...",
Mission 64 - The Runaround
"We have the beat on a high profile target in charge of Stargazer’s surveillance and recon drone operations. If we can take him out and retrieve his tech, we can shut down their entire drone network and deal a massive blow to one of their best security resources. One caveat though; he’s stationed in one of Stargazer’s densest installations, so there’s gonna be a lot of resistance. I hope you’re ready for a couple of good firefights, Fireteam.",
Mission 65 - Discovery
"News has reached us that Stargazer has successfully secured a Predator body. After some consideration, we decided that attempting to remove the body would prove too risky. Our plans are to infiltrate, track down, and destroy any evidence of its existence. Before we do, let’s make sure we secure as much related research data and objects as possible.",
Mission 66 - Exposure/Data Leak
"We’ve received intel that suggests Stargazer has established itself as a data broker for various cartels, guerrilla factions, and other paramilitary groups. We’re sending you in to download evidence off their equipment so we can out them for what they really are.",
Mission 67 - Suspicious Cargo/One Sweet Deal
"Stargazer has managed to secure a rare piece of tech that will be of significant benefit to their research. We’ve got a short window to secure this tech for ourselves. Intel is light in this one, so we’ll be figuring this one out as we go. Good luck.",
Mission 68 - The Maidens Treasure
"A codename has been circulating around Stargazer’s network recently and it has piqued the interest of HQ’s science divisions. Something called “The Maiden’s Treasure” is being hidden somewhere near one of their larger installations. We aren’t sure what it is or what it’s purpose may be, but we think it has to do with some Pred tech that they’re harboring. We need you to patch into their on-site network so we can loot that “treasure” and see what Stargazer really has.",
Mission 69 - Jump Drive
"A mysterious signature hit one of our long range scanners recently. We have reason to believe Stargazer has secured a very rare part to a Predator ship judging by the signal strength. I don't know how they got this thing, but we need to go in and get it before they can do anything substantial. Intel was able to get a general location, but you will need to do a majority of the tracking for this object on the ground. Get in there, start satcom syncing, and find out where they are hiding it.",
Mission 70 - False Positive/Smooth Talk
"A member of Stargazer’s leadership has moved into the open, which gives us an opportunity to take them out. While the intel is solid, we’re not sure exactly where this guy is. We’re equipping you with a AI-driven voice modulator that should be able to fake a voice sampled from their radio chatter. Once you flush him out, take him down and retrieve his security token, then access their operational database and purge him from their records. We don’t just want him dead, we want him to disappear.",
Mission 71 - Safe Hunt
"A Stargazer captain has intel on a number of VIP’s friendly to our operation. Given the nature of the intel, it’s likely that Stargazer plans to blackmail these individuals, which leaves us vulnerable. So, this is a black bag operation: Eliminate the Stargazer captain, obtain his safe credentials, and destroy the intel.",
Mission 72 - The Incompetence
"We have intel on a bomb distribution operation where boats from a guerrilla-seized rental store are being rigged and distributed. While this is bad for obvious reasons, what’s making it worse is that they’ve barely organized this operation and are just letting many of these rigged boats coast downriver where rough terrain and unaware locals are setting them off. Some of the boats have even drifted far enough to reach the ocean. We need you to get down there to the center of the operation, take out those dumbasses, and remotely disarm all the bombs.",
