can yank fireteam who are stuck in bear traps. can yank downed fireteam. seems to do little to no damage, fall dmg included (?)

What about net gun for pulling? That damage together could be nice while stunning them for melee hits
I’m thinking using fast hands with Net gun, chain whip, wrist launcher pop while they are stunned then hop away. That’s a lot of bleed damage possibly or maybe instead of wrist launcher and net gun, you could use the katana

I think the chain whip has too long of a stun time, if you can land one successful hit you are almost guaranteed a ft down.
Would’ve been cooler as an equipment rather than a weapon. Have it weigh 6 gear points, and shorten the stun time on fireteam.
Random but another tweak i think would be useful is if fully scanned targets were automatically locked onto when firing the speargun, making the speargun more viable.
I like the 2nd idea. But I disagree with your first take. Shoot the predator when he uses the grapple. His animation is locked and can’t leave. That’s the opportunity for saving your teammate

Melting the pred while he’s in the animation is good, but that’s not the problem, its recovery time for ft. Even playing as pred using the whip, it makes it too easy to kill ft imo.

I play as both ft and pred, I think that @IllFonic 's mistake with this game was throwing the balance of the game too far in one direction or the other.
Instead of solving fundamental problems of the game, they would buff or nerf in order to compensate.
The predator can get all 7 claims even against a good team. Half of your success in this game is dependant on your skill. The other half is at the mercy of janky weapons balancing.
Hot take, but damage buffs aside from Yautja’s bane, down ranged, heavy hitter, and fearless shouldn’t have been implemented into the game. Even stuff like sniper while good in concept is absolutely busted with the new pdl buff.
Another hot take. “Savage” should have been default on preds. Not only would it solve some balancing issues, but it would motivate pred players to actually make claims instead of just shooting guys while they’re down. Which is something I know ruffles some feathers.
If you restored health on claims by default, it would make them worthwhile. Maybe “Savage” could restore more health than a claim without it, but that might just be overcomplicated

If anyone is wondering for the new formula for the Cloak +Thermal Vision is:
Summary Consumption = (Cloak Consumption + Thermal Consumption) x 0.62
so from the old Preds Celtic and Scar are the best and can use both for 55.7/60 sec and 121/110 sec + ModRes. No more infinite usage of both for anyone…
