If anyone is wondering for the new formula for the Cloak +Thermal Vision is:
Summary Consumption = (Cloak Consumption + Thermal Consumption) x 0.62
so from the old Preds Celtic and Scar are the best and can use both for 55.7/60 sec and 121/110 sec + ModRes. No more infinite usage of both for anyone…
Don’t trust modifies energy reserves
Tbf you don’t really need infinite cloak or thermal vision. Unless you’re standing still and not bleeding, cloak can be more of a liability due to the noise it makes. Same with thermal.
Scar is the best for energy though imo. If you have modified energy, you can perpetually plasma cast blast them for the entire match without stopping. Not that I do it, but you could. If you have the extra battery plus modified energy reserves, you can shoot multiple fully charged shots without overloading. Unfortunately, I don’t find either perk to be quite useful against experienced teams.
there isn’t much sense in a camo if their autoaim locks on you even behind obstacles… plus the stupid camo illuminates sometimes…
Disciplined+Cloak can be really fun in day maps… since pred’s running speed is similar to FT’s sprinting you can breathe in lone sprinters’ neck. and play the game “if you stop, you die…”
most preds can spam plasma if not in Cloak or Thermal just show your head above a roof or a rock… and make sure you have Protection on…
w extra battery plus modified energy reserves, you can power slam w Scout, Exiled but you’ll need LongJump to reach them anywhere
head damage for the pred is 115% now, I see no hip stats…

Gladiator, Exalted, Witch and Oni have 200 Cloak Consumption(Scout)…
so Witch’ Cloak regen to consumption is 130/200 = 33sec +ModRes = 40sec
Pirate 175/200 = 91sec +ModRes = 305sec
Exalted 160/200 = 57sec +ModRes = 95sec
Scar 165/165 = Ꝏ +ModRes = regen
Bionic 175/200 = 89 sec +ModRes = 300sec

I still don’t understand why the stamina consumption is so damn high on Predator classes that are designed for melee, and the thermal shouldn’t have any consumption attached to it at all.
I don’t remember seeing a Predator engage it’s prey in the movies that suddenly had to stop, get it’s inhaler and wait for it’s stamina to recover nor did I see any Yautja having to micromanage energy consumption.

go explain to Illfonic that “thermal” is the default viewing mode for the mask and the only one in the first movie…
The predators cannot see as humans at all…
in first 2 movies predators were constantly in Cloak using thermals…
They give us protection/tracking/leap perks but we cannot use them cause the preds are elderly that need Adrenal and blind so need special visions and have shitty batteries…
