Can’t get close. Range is worthless.

Stay at a distance? Yeah right. Maybe if you’re 500 meters out. Any closer and it’s instant spot, snipe, you run away and heal. Use the caster? Well, good luck getting close enough to actually land a direct hit. Enjoy spending the whole game chipping away with splash damage and getting sniped. The team does more damage to you in the time it takes to get a shot off than a direct hit with a fully charged caster. Stand perfectly still and await your opportunity? Nope. Fireteam called the chopper after 3 minutes. Is it any wonder so many Predators end up just trying to melee rush? We don’t have enough time to do anything!

Going for melee? LMAO, good luck. Even against a single isolated fireteam member! All the fireteam has to do is back up while hip fire shooting and you’ll whiff almost every attack so they just unload damage on you while walking backwards and avoiding your attacks. Love slicing up that air! Combistick is solution to that problem but then they just parry you into Oblivion. Want to beat parry? Use the netgun, they just run away avoiding your attacks again until the fireteam shows up and once again you eat a ton of damage before you can even get a down. Then it’s time for Fireteam: Hunting Grounds! Let just run the bastard down! Who’s afraid of the big bad predator? NOT US MOTHER FUCKERS!

Man I’ve been waiting for a great Predator game since I was 8. In it’s current state this isn’t it. Too bad.

Look, I get a learning curve. I get Git Gud. I’ve been playing games since I was 6 and in almost every game I play, I dominate. I can play Genji in Overwatch at an extremely high level. I annihilate in Halo and COD. Iwas wrecking both sides in F13. I’ve destroyed in DbD. I am GUD. I’ve had plenty of time to adapt to these mechanics. I know when something is broken, and I’m telling you, this isn’t working. Feel free to disagree, but I am really, really frustrated. This is not the game I’ve been waiting for. Illfonic, PLEASE. PLEASE. SPEAK. SAY SOMETHING, ANYTHING. EVEN IF IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS GAME! “HI. HOW ARE YOU? HOW WAS YOUR DAY!?”

…resounding silence…guess I’ll go play the fireteam and troll Predators…

Honestly, I’m going to wait for a few more patches before coming back to this game. It’s fun…when I don’t glitch out in the trees and the FT gets rid of half my health while I try to free myself. Maybe if a couple of friends get it I’ll play with them, but I’m not going back into the game for a couple months.

F13 is a joke and suffers from the same problem as Predator. Try playing as Jason in a lobby with a team that specifically hunts you down. They will get your mask off, chase your ass down with Tommy and the sweater and the only way to beat that is to put your face into a wall so they can’t kill you.

DbD has also become a huge joke since they updated it and a good team will stomp any killer. Those generators will be up before you have time to even get someone on a hook in most games, it’s actually disgusting.

It really seems like these asymmetrical multiplayer horror games suffer from massive balancing issues in favour of the team because that’s where the majority of players are and it’s better to please them than please the minority. I don’t agree with it but I can see why they do it that way.

yah but thing is predator is too easy to kill in this game its boring if i play fireteam predator isnt even seen as much of a threat just wait till he goes in one of your mates then you dump a 150 rounds of lead into him lol and hes dead

The Predator in this game overpowered? Maybe… If the soldier you are playing is blindfolded and has both arms tied behind the back, or you just play like it.

Huh, mate, i understand u so much. Literally there are so many ways to lose playing as predator idk
I just wanted to write some example in here, but you have written down each case of that shit.
Like idk - what the fuck? I m playing pred, im moving slowly, there is no fucking way to see me, but no - spotted spotted spotted. If u didn`t manage to kill an isolated FT member by luck u wont get your kill at all. But the main point is that is only about experienced team. Any team that has some kind of lack of communication, discipline to stay close enough just getting eliminated.
