Having read the article, I don’t see anything particularly wrong or ‘woke’ about it.
The official synopsis for the movie is far more worrying than this rather plain, inoffensive piece which just highlights some obvious points.
What exactly is supposed to be the issue here?
To me its not just the article, after reading the synopsis all hope for the franchise died. When I read the " The New Predator’s Characters Can’t Just Be Victims" for some reason the only thing that went trough my head is the strong girl fighting the predator and somehow I don’t think they will at least pick someone like Gina Carano for the role.
Predator was never meant to be a movie franchise all they are doing is what happen to all the 80’s slasher/monster movies just tarnishing what’s left. Just let it die already
Gender norms , and with how disney have been in recent years? Yeah , doesnt look promising .
The next Predaror movie that would get me thrilled, was if Arnold and Danny Glover were in it. Like another warzone against a squad with at least some famous good actors and those 2 as guerilla advisors or something, since they are kind of old to combat roles.
But i guess this franchise is so dead, that the next Director will get The Rock to be the next Predator killer to keep this movie affordable… LOL
