Predator is Not op or weak. He is balanced

For all the people who think he is op you’re wrong nor is he weak. I just won 3 matches straight as pred. You have to be smart. Use your surroundings. Also use the pigs they are very useful. You have to be smart. Don’t use your healing kit right away instead look for boars. You have to predict when your target is weak so you can melee. Also this is very important try to see what class the player you’re after is. There are some tips. Hopefully they are helpful

I agree the Predator and FT are balanced this patch. Both teams need to play well in order to win. Predator is good but FT is bad FT will loose. If Predator is bad and FT is good FT win. If both are bad it goes either way if both are good it goes either way.

There is however a natural balance issue regarding PC vs Ps4. Its not as apparent against a Predator player on PS4 if they are good but if a good Pred is up against PS4 fireteam they will usually win. Its going to be very hard to balance overall as pc and console play completely differently. Some have said that against PC FT the Predator is too weak and I have to agree on this.

But I think overall the game is balanced well all damage numbers etc feel perfectly fine to me.

Some were PC btw and they were not potatoes. I killed them at them the end of the match

Since the patch I never lost with the Predator (I self destructed once), it’s true, I played maybe 15 games with it hence I got random.
I consider myself a good Predator and right now, I tihnk he is extremely balanced.
I use motion detectors, I poke A LOT, I never go melee when they are all in one spot, I try as hard as I can to separate them and track them…

The game, after the latest patch, became good.
Also, as FT the Predator is actually a challenge now…

Agree, PC player FT snipers see me in cloak more than any other players, they are priority number one on my hunting list.

During the beta it was a learning curve playing predator but soon I adapted and won most matches, most.

During release I had a rough time of it, I couldnt win at all I would get minced. But I adapted and started winning when I started playing very tactically and playing as a hunter would.

The patch made it feel easier as the predator, fireteam had to have some tactics instead of just shoot him when u see him. It was still an adjustment but things got easier as I changed the way I did things as I gained more experience, not in game xp but actual experience through playing, recording myself and adapting.

I win most of my matches pretty easily now as a 7 to 8ft tall, 400lb, cloaked, armoured, energy blasting, heat seeing intergalactic hunter that handled dutches team like they were children should.

But with good fireteam members I do find a challenge, and even lost and barely won against exceptional fireteam players.

Killing the predator should realistically be done by exceptional players while most should aim just to survive him.

Dutch, Mike, royce, and mckenna are all exceptional examples of what they belong to.

Sounds like you’re basing everything on your experiences in a day. If you can consistently win against good Fireteams, then you’ve got a point. One day doesn’t mean as much you think. You could just be having a stroke of luck.
