If there wasnt giant leave hitboxes the trees would be useless for pred, cause one good sniper can take him out
Hang on man, I really dont think that’s trolling. Idk if you’ve played ft, but for real, play with a sniper and see how often the branches protected them. And then realize that if it wasn’t for those seconds of cover you would have taken off their mask lol. I know you’re good at aiming.
So you could pull it off. It’s not hard if their on the trees trying to be stealthy, but I do think it’s intended despite it bothering me xD.
now normal i would disagree but seeing how fuckin brainless it is to shoot a pred in a tree i would have to agree, if that Branch hit boxes wasnt there then my god no predator would EVER use the trees it would be so counterintuitive.

I do, only cause how many times Ive had my snipe shots denied by branches. I know this games buggy as SHIT, but it does feel intended, like roof slam.
I’d ask courier but they typically dont typically respond to those questions.
And I have no problem with it, I was just bringing up downsides that the FT has since the other poster did not like how hitscan works.

If it wasnt ment to be that way why is it that those Branches always form little walls? like look at them really look at them you’ll see what i mean.
and if you tell me some bull shit thats how trees grow. fuck you thats not how they grow they grow randomly in all angles not just up 7 feet to 6 feet and across the lenght of the branch for another 6-7 feet thats not how trees work most of the time its grown in a line.
Dude, if not for the leaves and huge hit box from the braches/trunk no pred would climb a tree. He would be a perfect target to get blown up.
EDIT: They even “buffed” the pred by having his plasma blast go trough leaves.
