Now don’t give me that shit of people being trash. The game just releases and people need to get used to it still. As Predator, I want to love to play him. But when I get two shot by a grenade Launcher, or when I grab a slower hitting but stronger War Club over the sword, it still does the same amount of damage, maybe even less so. The weapons are underwhelming, and the fact you grind so hard just to end up with bad weaponry you worked so hard to get doesnt make any sense. They can mow me down in a few seconds but I spend those seconds barely killing a single person. It seems like it caters too much to the combistick and the bow to actually be useful, so people keep using the wrist blades which is fucking terrible thinking. Why add the other weapons then? Nostalgia purposes for predator fans? Balance the game instead of having predator die like in any movie they’re ever in.
Predator is weak.
I fully agree, the predator Is way to weak compared to the fireteam. I was playing earlier and some one of the fireteam members was walking away from the rest so I went for the kill. I litterally lost 75% health from that one person using a shotgun. When I went up to kill 2 more (wich I successfully did I had to heal up after) so the last person called reinforcements and guess what. reinforcements where called. It didn’t even take 15 seconds and the fireteam got revived again. At this point I just went into the crossline and suicided since there was no more point In trying. Another Thing I noticed, when you use the elder sword and make a leap jump it switches back to wristblades wich is really damn annoying.
hm maybee rename the game in fireteam hunting grounds … i loose 80 % of my healt to take 1 of the fireteam down -.-
Then you’re doing it wrong. Weaken them up before u go in for the melee. Net gun, bear traps are your friends.
I didn’t even have netgun at that time. My level Is pretty low since I’m not going to use my dubble xp untill the long waiting times are fixed. Even without having a netgun 1 human shouldn’t be able to damage the predator to nearly killing It.
Eh then again, your doing something wrong. One player won’t do that much damage to you in the time u can down them. It’s the other players that are killing u so fast. It can’t be stressed enough but you HAVE TO, HAVE to, HAVE to split the fire team up. You can deal with one at a time no problem, two, not so bad assuming u down one of em quick enough but more than that and it’s game over.
I legit played a match, lost 75% to 1 guy bunnyhopping while using the shotgun. Nothing more to say. It’s unbalanced as shit.
Then don’t try and rush a guy before you’ve weakened him up. I had a dude rage quit on me because he was mad his mini gun didn’t cut me in half when I came in for the melee kill. The reason was I had already hit him with a plasma bolt and only need a few swipes to drop him. He was heated.
The main thing tho, as soon as I shoot any plasma bullets the other fireteam members pop up, you have nearly no time to finish 1 guy before the entire team shoots at you. The predator is way to weak compared to the trial weekend. I’m also having constant struggles with people just bunnyhopping out of my attacks.
Yea splitting them up is FAR easier said than done, I’m not going to deny that. All the success Iv had as Pred as come that way tho. Take one out, retreat and refocus your attack.
Well yeah but once you are doing good they ask reinforcements. You don’t even have time to go to that location since they spawn back within 15 seconds…
I think predator is a lil bit too weak he could use a buff energy or a buff in health just a little, and I think he should get another equipment just two equipments and three gear doesn’t do for the predator it’s a hunting game so I feel like he should get more to the hunting rather than being reduced to his hunting n I’m already level 26 Not the far but so far tht is my opinion
Energy Is not really needed since there are reduced energy loss perks but It’s the health and actual damage of the predator that need the buffs.
Yea I’m not crazy on the reinforcement system. Needs tweaking for sure .
I’m w/ you for that but I honestly think It should get removed or like a 1m timer instead of under 15 damn seconds
Yea I’m not really sure how I’d handle it. Maybe only allow one FT member to respawn? I’m not sure.
We’ll see once they give out a new patch e.e, I really hope they see the problems for predator and focus on them more over the Fireteam
yeah the predator is insanely weak ive lost count or ive laughed at the fact i can make him run away and im like oh lord what even is this?? … lol. the only time i get merked or murdered is the time he comes in whaling with the combo stick … other than that unless they get lucky or they are god like. they get wrecked against a competent team or anyone that can shoot half decent … lol

Fireteam players setting on their pile of great weapons want to cry about us having ONE(the combistick) weapon worth a damn. And we have to get our asses kicked for like 70+ levels just to get it… 😂
But one weapon shouldn’t be praised over the others.
