That film was in the works before Disney.
People can salt about Disney but they brought Marvel back from the dead & Fox is on their last legs here with Scott and Shane Black butchering franchises that havent been relevant since the 90s.

Guardians of the Galaxy was a literally-who comic and not relevant or safe whatsoever and they actually managed to make it popular.
MCU wasnt politically charged or safe, you see how terrible DC is doing. Neither is stuff like Mandalorian. It depends on who’s directing/writing.
This phase 4 writing is because whenever somethings popular, armchair political activists flock in like commies to subvert it because their stuff can’t stand on its own.
As long as they dont hand pred over to JJ abrams to direct its fine.
It was made popular by being a Marvel IP Staring Crisp Rat and a soundtrack. It was very safe, and identical to every other movie in the MCU.
How IS DC doing? Ya might have missed the Nolan Batman trilogy… yknow those movies that spawned the resurgence of superhero flicks? Did you miss Joker? That one about the sad clown that became the highest grossing R movie ever? Admittedly DC ain’t got much to work with beyond Batman but it kinda says a lot when one character stomps the entire catalogue on the other team lol

It was proof of concept Marvel can put whatever they want out there now if the audience will watch a superhero movie with the cast being as comicbook as it gets.
Its like saying the original Superman did well so theres no reason green lantern should fail because it stars Ryan Reynolds. Atleast green lantern was more known than Guardians.
Nah that was iron man. Nolan spawned his fame as a director with his trilogy and Inception, rest of DC was garbage money laundering films/shows they knew werent going to make it and joker didnt release until like…last year? And its hardly connected to anything else DC has even put out lol.
How exactly is it not safe? Cutesy characters and lovable barbarians? A joke any time something remotely serious happens? Like I said it’s identical to the rest because theyre running on a formula, not creativity. There’s no risk to Marvel movies because they know the formula works, hence being able to temporarily kill characters. Also why WB tried to mimic that formula with DC and everyone could smell it a mile away so it all tanked and they’re going back to just Batman lol
Superman and Green Latern weren’t pre-written storylines in a cinematic universe either. Think about how well it woulda done had Reynolds NOT the lead… dude plays one character and remains A-List.
Joker is DC, give credit where it’s due. You’re trying to make a point about success and I’m sure it’s rough admitting one character beats an entire roster, but it’s true.
Sorry man, Batman caused the hype 3 years before Iron Man, Iron Man spawned the MCU, sure, but if it weren’t for Batman Begins, they might not have taken the risk.
I for one ain’t happy that Disney owns predator they already Fuckin it up and the movie hasnt even gone into production yet. The reason for Disney monopolizing the entire entertainment industry is to push woke bullshit on everything they own while not really having to care wether we like it or not because while they screw up classics they still have their core dianey material to rake in the cash. Its not even tied into anything. Really if you called the movie anything else you wouldn’t even know what character he’s supposed to be as the movie’s ashamed of leaning into the superhero/supervillain angle. Its so grounded that its a standalone film dissecting social commentary, mental illness, and class warfare and occasionally references the Waynes as the 1% to remind you this is all actually supposed to be related to batman somehow. There’s no guy in tights grapple hooking around its not even the same genre. Its nice as an art film and all but I dont consider it a batman movie in any sense, nothing villainish about it just feels like a leftover script from a different movie with names changed around

It’s a DC movie, its a DC character, and regardless of how true to source it is, it’s a version of the Joker just like Nicholson or Romero or even fuckin Leto. It is what it is but I do agree it’s hardly connected to the bigger story.

It’s seems NO ONE (including the folks that made this game) understand this franchise. Which is BAFFLING cause it’s so fucking simple. Space alien hunter, hunts down macho bad asses. Space alien hunter is scary. Space alien hunter will skin you Alive and rip out your skull. Macho bad asses have machine guns (not laser cannons and such) and say cool one liners. And that about wraps it up. Disney does not need to put the final nail in our beloved franchise

I dunno if they really are I’m going by articles here and ya but what if they can’t afford what Disney can do? Even if Disney doesn’t do a good job some people like this game will continue to get content or even get better, if the brothers win this game dies
Good. Then we’ll get a better game hopefully. AVP 2010 and concrete jungle kick the shit outa this game. Leaping around like a loud bashing hulk and spamming nothing but plasma down range cause nothing else works against 4 mans is not a fun predator game

No sir, you might be young but that’s how most 80s action movies were, very camp. Very niche. The fact they added a bit of a horror element is more credit to its originality than evidence of B quality. Do you consider Terminator a B movie?

B movies in the 80s were a whole other level of campy. While not exactly a blockbuster, Predator wasn’t a B movie at the time.
Remember too B movies are usually based on budgets, Pred had a nice one for the time and was the 10th highest grossing movie that year. It may seem like a “B” movie by comparison today, but it is certainly not
There were not just some horror elements. The entire second half of the movie is essentially a slasher.
First Terminator is a B movie, yes. B movies can take themselves, their premise rather seriously.
