Predator Leap Bugging out

Just had a game where I got into a fight. I was trying to hit and run. Hit the fireteam a little bit with the combistick, they parried, so my stamina went down. But when i tried to escape I could not leap. I kept hitting ctrl to try to leap, but instead i just stood around and got shot. I tried to leap for a full 10 seconds, but every time i hit the ctrl button i attacked with the combistick and stood there for some reason? Even though i wasnt touching the mouse buttons.

I understand you cant leap when your stamina is low, but my stamina seemed to be high at the time, after a couple seconds recovering from parry.

Basically this lost me the game completely as I stood around like an ass expecting to leap, but instead got shot to pieces. Then I 2nd winded and tried to run, but my movement speed was crazy slow, they tracked me down and killed me with ease.

I think the whole Predator stamina, leap may need rework or perhaps this was a bug?
Also the 2nd wind sometimes seems to make the Predator move way slower than usual, regardless of stamina.

By the way I’m not having a cry, I win plenty of games and have fun. Just this time it seemed totally stacked against the Predator for a few simple unresponsive reasons.

Leap has been freaking out on me too.

This happens to me and i literally just posted about it. Check my topic below this. I have had it happen with leap and have had it happen with sprinting. Sometimes jumping into a tree does nothing as well, not to mention spamming my use key doing nothing when trying to finish a downed team member.

Very clunky.

Yeah I often just stand around like an ass trying to eat a pig, because it doesnt register my f key for some reason. Clunky as hell.

It needs addressing especially with how much damage you can take quite quickly from 3 FT members.

I’ve isolated, downed, then ran around circling a body repeatedly trying to get the prompt to show up for the trophy. In this time, they got reinforced and I had to leave and escape. They were revived while I healed. Pretty frustrating.

An action like leap or claim bugging out at the wrong time can lose you the game easily. It’s already damn hard as the Predator because it’s not balanced well.
