Predator leaving after being downed and chopper left = game automatically ends

Hey guys,

I have noticed a bit of a common trend beginning to occur, Preds deciding to go balls to the wall on the FT when the Helicopter has arrived for extraction (rookie mistake). They get downed, arm the bomb, it gets defused and then they get all salty and leave… now thats fine but unfortunately that has an impact on the rest of the FT. Once the pred leaves because their tears have choked the system into a disconnect the game ends after the timer for the helicopter has finished and so prevents the FT from defending the now very salty body of pred for extra xp. This has no impact on me now due to be level 100 but people who are still trying to level up are being short changed because of some preads un-sportspredship…

Please could you give priority to protecting the preds body over any objective to prevent this from happening?

Or it could be they don’t want to wait 3 minutes while you clear AI and get into another match considering it takes 8 minutes right now.

That’s the idea they don’t want to wait but the developers should allow xo to still be earnt even if they leave. This creates a win win scenario rather than Pred avoiding the wait and fireteam losing xp. Pred is dead so not being there isn’t going to affect the Pred negatively anyway.

That I can get behind, understandably the queues are long and I can respect that but FT shouldnt be penalised like that, the pred made the mistake and so FT should be able to reap the rewards…

Alot of complaints here are from people who don’t know how to play as the predator properly.
Ofcourse you will get destroyed if you take on four highly armed guys in hand to hand combat.
The Pred is suppose to stalk and pick them off hence the cloak and silent weapons.

Yeah, tbf I think I lot of predators Rush cos they’ve been waiting 15 minutes to play a match and don’t wanna spend the game sitting in a tree having plasma shots stopped by leaves 😂

Just happened to me. Got >left behind< because predator ragequit after we defused bomb

Once the chopper is called and then you kill the Predator, that entire sequence is ‘broken’, if one person gets on the chopper, then the other 3 guarding the body are considered ‘left behind’

I didnt do this before, so I am not sure what changed.

So tired of lame Predator players that just refuse to learn how to use the alien correctly. Rushing and meleeing just isn’t proper. Plus it gets you killed.

i agree. and same for other way. if fireteam leaves give me a min to collect the kills i got… idk why sometimes it does, and sometimes it ends without giving time. IDK if thats because the last fireteam quits…

Both ways needs to be made fair so quitters cant ruin. i never knew it did that and i do leave, but usually when they are already doing the body protect thing so i dont think that stops it if its already happening does it? if it does i wont leave any more.

I didnt know this issue also affects the pred, to be honest I am normally the last one standing if the pred does win so they had time to collect trophies and its very rare I would leave a game (normally because my FT members had been so unaware/uncoordinated) I have respect when fighting the pred, I remember one time fighting the pred one on one knife against blades and almost winning (before the knife nerf).

If you did stay in game that would be great, don’t penalise yourself though, if you know the FT are all level 100 then by all means leave, they dont need the xp and you need to get ahead of the queue :)

The whole chopper sequence is screwed on both sides if the predator kills the fire team while the copper leaves match ends right away telling you the prey has escaped and gives no kills even when everyone is bleeding out at your feet they need to fix this let the predator claim his kills and let the fire team claim the body no matter what if predator rages or the chopper leaves bothe sides get screwed

You talking shit about tears and whatnot. Fak yur face lol. But seriously I agree you should get the xp if you get the body. Or kill em. But I dont blame preds for leaving if they died. I do because I already find ft boring to play, so watching it is just even more lame.

I just feel bad when I’m pred and 2 ppl leave so I’m here 1v2 as a pred.

Some people just dont have patience. Ft just lucky I cant aim my melee attacks. Been running into a lot of ppl tryna knife me lately. So I put them in a straight jacket and pokey pokey.

But if I could actually do different swings and aim high or low… they wouldn’t parry shit.
I think I’d be full melee then.

I just wish full charge plasma was stronger. Feels too weak now.
