Predator matchmaking isn't long, its broken. That has to lead to artificially longer waits as people retry.

If the timer says 5 minutes thats generally true. Once you pass that threshold I’ve experienced a few scenarios:

  1. You placed, congratulations!
  2. The timer continues forever.
  3. You see “placing” and it either goes on forever or it goes back to “matchmaking” forever.
  4. You load into a half-full lobby that never fills.
  5. You load into an empty lobby that never fills.

It usually takes me 2 or 3 attempts spanning 10-15 minutes to get a match. I can’t imagine I’m the only one that has to repetitively retry and undoubtedly skewing the wait times. Almost not worth it at that point when the average match is pushing 5 minutes now.

Waited almost 10 minutes to find a game. Missing 1 fireteam member. Wait a few more minutes and nothing. Backed out and tried again.

Wait 7 more minutes. “Connecting”. A couple minutes go by and it bails. Back to “matchmaking”. Cancel and try again…

This whole process makes it so insanely frustrating. 20 minutes or more to get a 5 minute game of varying quality is not worth it.

Hope a hotfix in the making, it’s gotten worst from this patch ( already had it before but wasn’t as bad).
