Predator needs infinite cloak capabilities.

If this is going to be a game where a Predator has to use their ability to remain stealthy and not their strength then there needs to be some major changes to allow for this type of game play for all skill level Predators. Invisibility is key when getting away from the FT. It is also important to cut back the ability to be tracked with spam spotting. If you Devs are gonna force us to play the Predator this way then we need to have a clear advantage with stealth and the ability to disappear when needed.

Predators in the later films had much better cloaks, let’s give these Predators of 2025 the right cloaking technology already.

Use cover, stop standing out in the open.

Better yet, go fight bots, you can be as powerful as you want, one shotting them with your Plasma.

I personally have no issues with vanishing fast from the view of the FT i was just saying for those who play as the Predators who are not as good at it. There has to be balance as all these pvp players say. Well best way is to give infinite cloak and shorten or stop spot spamming altogether. It is 1 vs four and the FT has the clear advantage already with numbers and the amount of healing and re-armorments that are offered. They also have reinforcements that can be called in so even if you kill three of them they can get those three back. There is a clear disadvantage for any Predator already. Add the super knifes that allow for parrying and the fact that most pro FT use sniper rifles with close range sights then you really have the overall advantage as FT over the Predator. You guys talk about balance then give it. As they say practice what you preach.

there is no bot mode yet as far as I know either. Just fighting the AI in private matches and that is nowhere the same as fighting a bot run FT.

Ugg

You’re so far up your own ass, I’d need Spelunking gear and a whole lot of KY to even try and unpack all that.

Predator has the advantage. Always has.

You must like playing as FT more then.

name off the advantages that the Predator has over a 4 player FT. I will wait and see if you have any validation to your claim.

The ability to run away real fast is not an advantage by the way, before anybody says anything.

There are several Perks (Energy Reserve it’s one of them, I forgot others names) that works with cloaking. Not infinite but you can be cloaked quite amount of time though.

That is fine but at the expense of other more useful stat boost. Then a fair trade off give the Predator the ability to arm more stat boost then.

I frequently down almost entire teams of FT while standing still in one spot shooting the bow or pistol.

I think “infinite” cloak is an overkill request.

If you’re spending your entire time running around cloaked, then you’re doing it wrong anyway.

What is your win:loss rate (at a guess?)

Sometimes he does

Literally ten times the hit points, FT Scouts Have 125 a berserker has 1400, I think.

Pred has infinite heals via boar. Ft has a finite supply… meaning it can run out, Pred can destroy ammo boxes (needles) and health kits.

Pred is faster than the fastest FT with Double Time, can jump further and leap even farther, which FT can’t do.

Has access to trees, for mobility and the branches have been buffed to provide unrealistic levels of protection against bullets. FT nerf.

Has invisibility, it’s shitty while moving, used well it works and does actually grant you the ability to be completely invisible. Don’t say FT has muddling up, Pred has a perk that negates it, observant.

Pred Weapons can do ridiculous Damage when comparing a single hit to a burst from any FT weapon.

Second Wind, blinds anyone close and ‘reduces‘ damage while active. Even if your health kits empty you can heal from second wind and have enough HP to continue.

Can track via target isolation, can highlight the FT for a significantly longer time than spot lasts and doesn’t even have to click on them, it just happens.

Has unlimited ammo for the Plasma Caster, and Pistol.

Extra Ammo for other weapons is often collectable and hence infinite.

Can melee from outside the reach of FT negating Parry, can also attack from the side or back.

Slam for dealing with huddles or camping or just to knock someone down for free if they’re already hurt.

Can see how hurt FT are by blood on their clothes. Yes FT can see this on the Pred but he has second wind even if you do get him low.

Edit - I could add more but I figure you don’t actually want to compare the two, if you even start to consider it you realize how strong the Pred actually is.

There you go, a short list.

Every 8 out of 10 times as Predator I endup killing at least 2 to 3 FT and Maybe a full FT kill 1 or 2 times every 20 matches. I stay in stealth most of the match to see what tactics the FT is using. They kill me the other 2 times out of those ten matches with bullshit knife parries and spot spamming and sometimes chase me down like track stars when I am in a heal up.

Well I don’t use a berserker, next boars don’t always spawn when you need them, next said running away is not a perk for Predator, its a sign of weakness, next trees can be shot up to hell and spot spamming makes use of them pretty much pointless, next invisibility sucks when you even move a inch FT spots you and spams, next Predator weapons are alien tec no duh they are gonna hurt, next 2nd wind limts you ability to vanish so pointless, next energy runs out mid fight most the time if your blasting to avoid knife attacks, next you cannot collect extra ammo for pred tec last I checked, next you jump in the middle of a FT huddle and see what happens, next red blood doesn’t shine like Pred blood does, so yeah next…

See, no point. Is it dark in there?

O I forgot the reach of a Predator, yeah its great but when your surrounded by 4 players, reach and the ability to swing and hit maybe 2 or 3 of them if your lucky enough is really not a perk. It is a survival tactic.
All things you mentioned are really only a minor perk in comparison to having 4 people on your team vs someone who is fighting the 4 of you by themselves. The only real tactic that works is trying to split you all up but that happens very rarely as of late since FT knows if they split up they are easy pickings.

As with any of these types of games it gets to the point where the one who is taking on the four is going to need more advantages to keep it interesting for those players. These games die if they don’t make that change or at least offer a single player experience.
