balance is good when it comes to games that are supposed to be balanced, this game by nature is already unbalanced with a 4 vs 1 scenario.
Predator needs infinite cloak capabilities.
You want pvp balance then go play any other shooter out there, this is a 1 movie monster vs 4 humans experience.
illfonic will change it up eventually, they will have to as they see there pvp player base die because those players always move on to the next best pvp experience. Only true fans stick around and wait for the game to be fixed the right way.
The issue is, youâre wanting a scenario balanced towards the Predator winning most of the time, rather than a âfair gameâ.
You want this because you want to feel powerful as playing as an iconic Predator, in a Predator game. I get that.
BUT is in essence what you are asking for is for 4 out of 5 people to have a bad and handicapped game, so 1 player in each match can enjoy themselves more. (by winning).
And youâre asking this as someone who has an ~5-10% win rate.
There are Predators out there who win almost every game they play.
This game must remain enjoyable and fair for the FT to play, because if noone wants to play FT the Predator has noone to play with!
I have played significantly more games as FT then Pred.
But as mentioned, I havenât lost many games as a Predator. This last patch was a flat out buff for me (because I donât use the Net Gun).
My games as Predator just got easier. More Fire Team players are going to lose now. They are going to get frustrated, and they are going to want to play as Predator instead (already saturated).
They are going to worsen queue times, and possibly get frustrated with that as well. Then they will leave the game.
You cannot cater the balance and enjoyment of an entire game geared towards 20% of the active player base.
I think what you need is some decent AI/Bot support implemented into the game.

I just want to see some actual effort towards making a true to lore Predator game that is challenging all around. I want the FT to win but not with cheap tricks that clearly piss off a lot of players who main is the Predator. Yes there are those who can win all the time as Predtor if you follow the rinse and repeat tactic of hit, hide, hit hide, hit hide, hit hide and heal or eat a pig. That to me is boring and I get tired of the same thing over and over and over again. I could win every match as well as a berserker but I choose not to play as one because I hate doing the same thing over and over again. This was supposed to be made by a company that gave us Friday the 13th. Not EA the money grabber. True predator fans were waiting for the true Predator experience, alas we got the watered down version of the Predator experience.
I guess I expected too much from illfonic, I am trying though to help everybody see there could be more with the real Predator experience if they added in everything that has happened in that universe. Traps, weather, tech, alien life, different time periods, different planets and all sorts of warriors. It would be great if they did it but I think this is just becoming the next money grab.
I feel like a few ppl posting on this page have never fought a good fireteam pred is at complete disadvantage till he gets a kill and then he slowly takes the battle field this is how assemtrics work now for balancing purposes I think the game is close but the fireteams damage output per min is much more than a pred in 1 min of a pred fighting a good team heâll be winded wile the team probably has 1 downed memeber they can just pick up and this adds the fact even if pred puts in all the work to fucc a whole good team up they still can reinforce so if the preds smart he shouldâve trapped the spawn and knows where itâs located but 90% of preds still donât consider this also but their doing gameplay and balancing off rando teams making it fun for them even against a good pred they have a chance even tho I havenât lost for awile doesnât mean I havenât had trouble and for pre mades their a wholenother story on being op when facing a pred a full cordinated team the pred should be a joke or the teams trash this goes for rando preds only tho
I think you have to move on and wait for a single player predator game that actually suits you. I see your complains about the game, your dislike against pvp and the wish for super strong predators no one wants to mess with. But in this online game you need a fireteam that wants to mess with the predator. Maybe itâs time to realize this is just not the game for you? All the suggestions Iâve read from you seemed extremely unpractical to me.
No one will buy Predator Hunting Grounds because it is a pvp game. Everyone bought it because itâs a Predator game.
