First he gave us potato head…then green arrow/sith predator(really hope its fanning tho) now we got 2 more horrible “predator” design picks he decided to use for the upcomin show. Idk about you guys but his design chlices are the worst in the franchise history and by that i mean what makes it to screen not concepts.
Fuck these dudes I swear, Predator was an aesthetic that made the franchise stand out for its time and beyond where suits can still hold up the test of time and carry weight because of the obtuse burden of movement for the actors inside

I agree with this. But i quess all of these artists are just too arrogant and they “HAVE” to do their own takes… They always know better… They just don’t know how to respect the source material and give the fans what they want.

Build on the original Stan Winston look. Make cool new mask designs, cool armor, trophies. Add scars, extra details, weapons etc. Keep him lean, athletic. Don’t deviate too much from the iconic look, because it will always suck. For example this statue looks way better than the new designs. Simple, but it captures the spirit.
Ive already explaned what is meant by keep the orgnal base design cus thas always the reply “they cant all look like jungke hunter” does jh87, city, lost trib, avp trio, and wolf all look the same?

Heres my best guess why they opted for simple dopey shapes - toys costing too much have to be made domestically and need simple shit to put on shelves for the immediate business years due to unforseeable circumstances (tarrifs). Should be as simple to make like Mcdonalds happy meal toys.

Everyone in “another” popular forum are talking about this film and to me they’re so optimistic like:
They made up a language for the predator, and they are going to have facial cgi like the Navi and its going to emote and be more ‘human’. Its going to be everything we were hoping for like what made the original film so gloriously amazing but for newbies who never watched the original and think this film is the hot new Avatar (james cameron styles). Its going to be the best!
