Predator range buffs.

How to make the predator range viable.

Allow full movment speed when aiming bow and plasma etc. sitting duck otherwise.

Allow firing when in leap (not plasma). a mid-leap arrow shot that lands on target would be like 1000% epic! skill (also make arrows go where you are aiming!)

make the plasma laser FADE IN with the charge. a small uncharged shot would be hard to see the laser. a full charge shot would be highly visible

once mask is gone, make the randomness of the plasma shot less so its still useable to some degree.

Predator character rotates faster allowing faster snapshots.

The only thing I can think of is more damage, though arial bow would be kinda cool.

na more damage is just a cheap way of doing it. it needs some attention to it in a thoughtful way.

Adding damage to everything would make it less skill and really bad for the lower level games. if you can just 1 arrow down something for example that would be infuriating for the fireteam and it doesnt even solve the issue that you cant get the arrow off properly. you still have to stand out in the open, unable to really move properly, hope the arrow goes where you aim, reveal your location, hit the scenery with the arrow etc etc…

it needs really thinking about.

I meant more in terms of plasma cannon splash damage. Arrows seem fine enough.

I’m saying this cause, jesus christ, I did a few hours of ft like said in some other post, And holy shit ft is severely fkn broken.
I knew it was bad, but I was with a full squad this time and it was beyond easy.

Preds a joke atm compared to a full team.
But more than buffs and nerfs I seriously think we need an overhaul to gameplay.

But like I said I like the idea of arial arrows. Sounds bad ass. I also like the idea of laser visibility depending on charge time. Full movement speed sounds good too.

OH I know. How about better target reticule collision detection so we dont fkn hit rocks and shit? Lol.

Lmfao. Omg I got one. Not really lore accurate or anything, but I would love an arc path option so we can mortar fire PC. Would really help vs snipers I think.
I’m pretty sure its asking too much but now I want it.

something simple like giving any premade group of 3 or 4 a nerf but then that makes a shitty premade mad because they get a nerf…

Cant see any solution that doesnt involve a skill ranking sort of system.

But a start is to make the pred more range viable and range resistant.
Making all the fireteam weapons have a damage fall off that represents their use. SMGs good up close but just tickle the pred at range. snipers good range, but require some skill (lead/drop) to shoot. (PC only?) and dont do high damage close.

IDK, im glad its not my job to do this is all i can say lol

Lmao. Nah on ps4 we can handle bullet drop. They would need to stabilize the game on ps4, but we can handle it. Hell I love sniping in bf4, and in bf its projectiles, not hit scan.
Battlefield in case you dont know.

yeah no joke i got a really good squad on PS4 i was like “these dudes mousing or what?!” - iv lost 1 or 2 to a good PS4 squad because i underestimated them and paid for it! - shit kept me up at night ahhaa

No doubt they can aim, a little more aim assist (like 5% better?!) and id have no issue with it being the same for all.

maybe i just play against people who cant aim for shit on PS4 most of the time

Yeah but it’s on any platform most ppl are just ok. It’s a bit easier aiming with mouse. And lmao you bring Shame to the pc players xD. Lol jk.

Honestly I’m the type that turns off aim assist if I can. It always threw me off in mw3, back on ps3. I personally hate aim assist.

Hey I’m decent at aim. My only advantage is my reflexes. I’ve seen better than myself Tho. But whether it’s with or without aim assist I cant say.

Also I may love long range sniping in bf4, but i can barely hit a moving target xD. I mainly like going after other snipers.

Idk on ps4 ft plays like a damn free to play game lol. Doesn’t feel smooth. A few times it does but idk. I’d like the smoothness of destiny 2.

But ya man, I think bullet drop off should be a thing.
And mortar plasma cannon lol.

I agree. The mechanics of the arrow forced the predator to take vulnerable positions when it should be a stealth tactic. I also would like to see some work done to the smart disc. I feel like that could be a really fun weapon if they look into improving it.

yeah me 2, ive never used it because the 1 time i did it was so bugged and mostly useless.

never tried it again.

id like to just lob it at the general direction and it bounce around some walls and hit them a but then come back or go get it… idk . if you are controling it , it needs to be faster and more manuverable

Yeah especially with how fast the game is. The smart disc is just one of those weapons that seem useless because it takes to much time to set up and retrieve. Even when you have a FT in a bear trap.

you can tell whe whole game was balanced based on how the devs play in their livestreams, its verys low skill casual affair.

They need to really start to consider how they play is not anything like how a high level fireteam plays.

Id love to see the IllFonic “best predator” Vs one of the top fireteams on here. that would soon let them see and know what needs to be done.

As it is, they play amongst themselves and dont really see what we see. atleast i dont think they do.
Maybe they play on annoynamous accounts and have been playing against us. IDK, but if they are they are probably pondering the same as us "how do we balance this for everyone/ most skill levels)

I personally think its better to balance toward the higher level, as people are going to get better the more they play.

I think the smart disc has to be like in AVP , so you can adjust aim by tracking simply the cursor. Also should have like 2 or 3 variation like in avp film that is a shuriken with different blades.
