Predator’s Improve. But, still too loud?

Do y’all agree? I feel he still needs to be more quiet. Especially as a Scout Predator.

It’s hard to sneak when a good fireteam just looks at you.

And spotting to be out? I think once those two gets fixed, it’ll be an extremely balanced game.

  1. noise reduction (thermal especially)
  2. Spotting The Predator removed

It’s loud. I agree.

agreed the FT is way more stealth than the predator. i think that’s what makes the FT feel op most thy time is that they may not know where you are exactly but they almost always know when you’re around. so they are automatically on alert. it would be much better if the fire was always afraid of the predator because the never know if they’re being watched. predator needs a massive stealth buff

maybe have the noise lvl based on class. the hunter and scout could be much stealthier than the berserker, movement wise at least. the sounds of cloak, vision and other gear need reduced across the board

They need to do spotting like Apex Legends where it’s just a directional ping and not a full fledged tracking system like on Call of Duty Warzone.

I agree the FT often spots me before I even spot them. I don’t mind the purring when cloaked thing hurts the footsteps is way too much of a giveaway.

I always thought the vision mode sound should be in the mask only. It doesn’t make sense to project this sound.

break line of sight and predict where they will head and ambush them.

Disagree for sure

  • I agree that predator is too loud while running, although this may not be as bad from FT side as it may sound from the predator side. Its loud enough to hear that a pred is near you. Also the game music has a tendency to blot out such sound effects.

It is kinda illogical that predators super-leap is completely silent but their running is not… I am not saying I want the leap to make a sound (as its one of the few ways to actually maneuver around the FT in stealth and consists a large part of predator gameplay), but the running sounds might need some toning down. Perhaps this is where game mechanics take front seat while logic sits at the back…

I also like the suggestion that predator sound level should depend on the class. The berserker footsteps could be that loud THUMP THUMP THUMP.

  • I think that if the predator is cloaked, the spot should fall off when they move. Uncloaked predator can remain spotted for a bit as they move.

It’s almost as if the predator should be able to crouch and tip-toe around.🙄

Considering his entire existence revolves around stalking, yeah.

But the point is that Fire team DOESN’T HAVE TO sneak. They are pretty darn silent while running, and can also be invisible to the thermal eye while at it. The issue is how the predator is in comparison to the FT.

If predator crouches and sneaks around, the FT just speedruns to the next objective.
