Oh come on that’s not true and you know it. We just gonna ignore clone wars season 7, Mando and Rogue One and the many upcoming series? I will politely say ruined star wars my ass. Just cause the sequels were duds doesn’t mean star wars is done for. In fact if it wasn’t for the buyout star wars would’ve been dead in the water long ago. George Lucas said himself he was gonna stop making films for the public so Disney buying it actually breathed life on a franchise that was almost dead after the mess of “George Lucas raped our childhood with the prequels!”
Come on blame Disney for the bad stuff they actually did like them monopolising and the whole Mulan debacle. Disney sucks there is no denying that. But they are not to blame for hack job writers thinking they’re hot shit coming in writing a movie for a big IP that turns out to suck. I personally don’t like rogue one and the Mandalorian it’s an interesting series but a lot of the actors really suck and they kind of already disrespect on some of the Lore like they did with the HK droids. To me Clone Wars season 7 was all right (most boring episode was with those two sisters or whatever) nothing compared to season four five and six especially the battle for umbara was great.
Whether you like them or not we have to acknowledge that they were very successful and more people like them than dislike them. So for most people Star Wars is far from ruined. But anyway hopefully there’s something you enjoy out of the many series to come.

And in Rebels they really cheated with what they did to Thrawn. Some BS right there.
But hey if people like them then good for them but it drove me away.
For me was a good thing cuz it opened me to a gateway of Warhammer 40K and holy s*** it’s awesome.

Episodes 7 , 8 and 9? The star wars name alone gets asses in seats . You think lucas’ prequels were bad? The only one that was iffy was episode 1 . Even then it done more good for the franchise in one movie , than the last 3 done altogether.
