Dude at this point I have entirely given up on this game and it’s community. Like I’ve never watched people defend stuff so egregious, for so long
Predator Single Player Mode!
And yet we must continue to suffer such a presence…
Nobody has even defended this mode. The most optimistic thing said about it is that with more time & some overhauls to the AI they might have a good distraction. Other than that it is mediocre looking and barely worth considering as it stands beyond one small glimmer of smart narrative gameplay clicking. The real meat of the game will and probably forever shall remain in its multiplayer content, this is little more than a small time trial or challenge mode as it stands, and a low budget one at that.
But continue to whine on I suppose and belittle the people here who probably don’t even disagree with you on this particular subject just because others manage to find some enjoyment in a game you personally cannot instead of just leaving it all behind and going off to find something better to do. It’s almost like you’re looking for the debates with such a mindset and don’t actually care about any supposed problems you speak of, it’s just the negative interactions that’s wanted.
It is about time they add a single player mode. The fans have just been asking for forever now. I love seeing that illfonic final did something the fans wanted for a change.

They have given us some things we wanted, granted not everything, but their doing their best of what little team they have since they are split in half. One side for Predator Hunting Grounds, and the other on that new game so yeah.

I almost feel sorry for those who thinks a game mode like this will be good. Shit and poorly programmed AI, exact saame kind of missions as FT got, nothing new, just rush in and wave/shoot your weapon.

No there are many but they won’t speak up because they have other things to do besides sit on a forum and get berated by others who think their way is the only way to play the game.

Completely incorrect, there are alot of people who have been asking for single player content since before the game was even released, and with the release of Aliens fireteam people are very happy for the inclusion of single player content, same with the upcoming evil dead game they see not everyone wants to play online 24/7 and the see that adding offline will help sales especially if you look at their facebook and instagram basically everyone is happy or saying they werent even gonna get the game cause there was no offline

Please don’t compare Aliens Fireteam to Hunting Grounds. Both are games that play differently and you should know this. Both games have small skeleton crews that probably wouldn’t even be able to do these drastically different modes even if they wanted to. Fireteam Devs can’t even add Quickplay.
I’m not saying this because I absolutely hate the idea of Single Player in PHG, I’m just saying this because it’s true, and if there was a single player in HG it would actually suck not because Illfonic are bad writers, but because they would need to expend a lot of resources on something that wouldn’t benefit the main game by itself. Like Clash.

So in your opinion Predator Hunting grounds couldn’t have single player content because they would need a lot of resources that wouldn’t benefit the game, a mode that people want and even said they would play just like what devs for alien did they added offline because they knew it would help and as you said they are too a skeleton team, so its not about resources its about the teams being lazy. I’m comparing them because it shows which devs would actually listen and see what would benefit their game predator didnt aliens did

fireteam and pred bots in custom matches would be the best imo, Not sure how much time effort and resources would need to be dedicated to that though. difficulty adjustments on top of the normal options would be cool for the new bots too
