Honestly like what @Arnie.schwarzewigger said if they can maintain and develop two games at ounce they have more then enough resources to add this type of modes, especially since they technically already have, they have custom/ private matches but it for some idiotic reason is locked behind having a PS Subscription (if you are on PlayStation)

so you can still play the game without ps+ but cant use the private match thing ?. Tbh thats better than most p2p games since you cant play p2p games with out ps+

okay so its like all other p2p games then you cant use them online, thats a sony thing, if im not mistaken only FTP games work without ps+ subscriptions
its not a sony thing its a game dev thing, Call of duty black ops 4 did the same thing, it was an online only game and the closest thing to a single player they had was locked behind having a subscription

let me ask you a question who benefits from forcing ps+ on players for using online content. Best way to find out who is responsible is by finding out who benefits. Just remembered that there were games i played without ps+ before sony did the big change and made ps+ compulsory for p2p games a few years back

If they do release a single player mode, it’s going be a boring bare bones PoS and I hope it turns out to be like that. Just so you people crying about lack of single player in a game built for and around PvP will stfu.

I’m not trying to start anything just placing a opinion.
Aliens has Offline, or in this case Single Player with A.I Teammates because this is a Online/Co-Op game that is also made to be a story game with multiple campaigns vs hordes of A.I fodder. You don’t have a PVP Mode and I know Cold Iron for sure isn’t thinking of adding that in for a while if ever.
Predator meanwhile is Online because it is a 4 v 1 Asymmetrical game that is based around the conflict between the 1 Predator and the 4 Fireteam. A.I fodder is there to keep Fireteam preoccupied. Any story is put into Lore Tapes and its clear that any new modes worth mentioning are gonna have a Multi-player function. Not a single player function. You want a single player mode? Go start Private Match. That’s your Campaign. Basically inseparable from Aliens at that point.
You think Aliens Devs are listening to their players right now?
“Please add FOV” = maybe.
“Please add Quickplay” = nah.
To insinuate that any of the teams are lazy is being disingenuous.
Don’t dare hop into their official modded discord and try asking about ingame VOIP or a text chat.
Or even voice channels in their discord for people to make groups. You just get caught in a ban wave if people start discussing it except the ones vehemently defending a lack of text chat in a multiplayer co-op game.
Courier and hamlet atleast let us critize the game and ask why features aren’t in

Online gaming was free on ps3 , when the ps4 dropped you needed psplus on that gen of consoles.
