Predator slam exploit? Or is it fair?

It’s powerful as hell but if a fire team is inside ANY! building other than the giant ones on that one map just keep spamming on top with the slam and you hit them every time and they can’t do anything back.

Trust me if you try this it’s so so broken and makes killing fire teams so easy to kill if they go inside buildings. Especially if you take energy perks.

I know of this but refuse to do it. Just like I refused to parry as Fireteam pre patch. I don’t use exploits, it’s unbecoming and this needs fixed.

100% agree, I have not seen others post about it and I had it done to me in a game hence how I found out.

Well I suppose it is meant to be an AoE attack. Just they never factored for the AoE damage to be applied below the floor. Can’t say I’ve noticed this while playing on either side.

I think it’s perfectly fair. Predator becomes very vulnerable.

Same here. I play 100% fair, playing the way the game was meant to be played. If someone is using an exploit or exploiting a game function beyond its reasonable purpose, then this is not how the game was meant to be played. I’ve run into this too many times lately and have chosen to step away from the game. Meta/broken mechanic exploitation is the game at the moment unfortunately.

Hmm, didn’t know about that. Personally I really think the Slam is a great mechanic. I know some hate it, but I think it takes skill to place right and is a great way of breaking up a fireteam.

But yes, it shouldn’t go through walls or other objects.

Oh it goes through walls? I didn’t know that. They should fix that

Didn’t realize this and never yet encountered it in a game. But it sounds like a collision defect/bug and it should be patched out. I wouldn’t personally use it. I avoid exploits that violate the spirit of a game whenever possible (unless someone crossed me and I’m feeling spiteful). :-)
