Ok I want your guy’s opinion on the pred slam. I always thought it was dumb and a waist of time…but I found that they can slam the roof of a house ur in and still do immense damage. With no chance of being shot because their inside. However most times it barely takes roughly 1/4 of ur health. Soo what’s ur thoughts on it?

Yup, I never slam, just not authentic for me, based on P1, 2 and Predators.
I might of made things a little confusing sorry.
When the pred slams the roof of a house ur in it still does damage to you and no way for u to shoot him back in return because hes being blocked by the ceiling… I hope that made more sense.
Yea it bugs me to for that reason but I’m wondering if that mechanic was intended or

IMHO: Slam DMG must be reduced to 50 (or depend of distance from Pred) and cant pass through the obstacles (f.e. you can hide from incoming AOE wave for rock or tree, etc)

Idk about damage wise for it, I think it’s fine. I just dont believe that it was intended to go through obstacles…such as a roof.
I love the slam. It’s helpful when the FT members are grouping up and not paying attention to me and when they all try to huddle up in a corner. I’m really glad that it does damage through walls because it gives all Predators the ability to fight FTs who huddle up in a corner and wait for you. You shouldn’t have to bring the Smart Disc every game in case you encounter this.

I think it’s been around for about a year now.
I’ve had no issues with using either the disc or plasma caster.
Turn the non-ADS up to maximum for extremely good disc maneuverability (I’ve only tried this with controller).
I’ve killed plenty this way in a building. Otherwise a few plasma shots and disc throws and the FT come scurrying out like cockroaches lol XD
I just use a net and plasma cast them. On the rare occasion when I remember I have a combi I’ll use it as a flash bang .😂
Keep forgetting that its also a flashbang. I main Scout + disc + thrown combi…good to remember.
I don’t want to have to bring the disc every game in order to counter them though. I’d like to be able to use other weapons without having to fear corner huddlers.
Does Plasma Caster damage go through walls? If it did, I didn’t think it would do that much. It’d probably take forever to kill them. The reason I like using Slam for this so much is because it deals a lot of damage, meaning it’s more likely that the FT will want to come out and have an actual fight. They either realize that I can easily kill them all if they don’t run out or they use up all of their healing supplies.

Sorry me and the other guy was just saying what we use to feel with corner hurdlers. Caster does not affect through walls. Not that I have seen.
Oh bud, the disc is used for so much more than camping FT. It is looooads of fun out in the open too, so easy to chase them and get multiple hits on one FT (downs them) or hit multiple FT. Just turn up the non-ADS sensitivity to max. Also I tend to use it while on ground level, waste less time re-angling it plus when it returns you may - and it does - hit FT.
When an FT is trying revive someone, throw the disc and when it hits, recall it for return damage…more often than not you will down that FT too.Also you can hit the downed FT with the disc as well as the feet of the FT going for the revive.
The plasma caster does splash damage,look for the white X to confirm a hit. Aim for the ceiling if you are below the door way or the floor if above (obviously). Also make sure you throw a motion detector on the wall or roof because you will see which corner they huddling in and can amend aim. Also listen out for the shouting about medkit and healing because it means they are likely standing still and yo are about to ruin their day.
Don’t aim the laser in the building until you are ready to fire…little roaches will run to other side of room otherwise.

Speaking of the smart disk please check out my other post about pred mask!?!?! It includes the smart disk. I’ve seen alot of people complaining about 1 smart disk isnt fair sooo I came up with a conclusion. That may just be a fix idk
