I was under the impression that the Predator always spawns on the opposite side of the map from the FT, but a few times now I’ve had a Predator engage us within the first 10 seconds of the match. Is this a bug, hack, or intended?

Probably Scout class Predator using longer leap perks. They are insanely fast.
The Predator spawns in on the map before the fireteam. A Predator player may know the spawns and just make his way to them the moment he can move which is what I do. Second Isolation is available I use it and can see where they spawned and I am usually only a leap or 2 away and I often engage them before the first minute of the game is up.

Budda i believe claims he does this every game now i wouldn’t necessarily be surprised that this is catching on as it stands predators have no reason to let the game go longer since it doesn’t really effect our vert gain plus fireteam usually finishes their obj’s by 7 minutes in and why risk losing the fireteam when as soon as you spawn you can mud up if your all using suppressors pred has to get lucky on where you might be on the map since mud has no CD i think he has even said it takes about 7 jumps to clear the whole map as a predator
