Predator Tell Tale Game????

As the name of the title suggest, I was thinking what if we got a Predator Tell Tale story? With the likes of “The Walking Dead” & “Batman” being the main inspiration of this idea along with “Detroit Become Human”. All of these titles were amazing in the form of story telling, so why not strike good that no one has dared to venture…that being the Predator Franchise. If I were head of this project, my ideas would be:

1.) The option to be either a Female or Male Yautja (each option holds different outcomes and conversations)

2.) Have the story be told from the player playing a Yautja & Human Mercenary. (Similar to how AVP games or Detroit Becomes Human did their transitions of different perspectives)

3.) Have the chapters be your Yautja & Human climbing the ranks of their society only for both characters to finally meet for a epic showdown.

4.) Have the option to become a Bad Blood, similar to how games that allow good or bad choices, here with enough dishonorable points will leave the Predator to turn into a Bad Blood which would spark a whole new story line compared to what was originally set. With your human character, with enough dishonorable actions will have him kicked out of a Predator Hunting Company to fend for themselves.

5.) For the human playable character, have their history serving in the military of your choice of background and just like Dutch & Dante being the lone surviver who managed to kill a Predator. This would spark a story line as they would be brought into a hospital for recovery, to then be approached by Dutch himself where he will conduct a interview to see what makes you so special to have you join his team.

6.) Equipment will be key, For the Predator you will have a limited space of Weapons to equip smilies to the Hunting Grounds. This will effect if you want to be a guns ablazing warrior or a stealthy hunter, with each chapter completed not only will your characters become older and wiser but you’ll have different options of Armor, Masks, and Weapons.

7.) The main base of operation will not only be a ship, but a ship that has your room filled with weapons, trophies, and personal items that’ll signify achievements through the game.

8.) The options will be tuff for you will be force to make hard decisions, these decisions will come to haunt you and affect you for better or worse. This is a game based on your personal and logical decision making. So…choose wisely.

This is all I have so far but I’m willing to discuss more ideas on what everyone would like to see from a game like this playing with the idea of a Predator Tell Tale game.

For a full story focused game like that I can only see it working if you end up teaming up for some reason.

I know most ppl arent too interested in that but the times I’ve seen humans and preds team up and them acknowledge human skill it was pretty cool.

Probably will be brought together by a Xenomorph horde to defend against, I can see it working as that would have none of the characters dying if you made the right choices

A team up could be one of many possible outcomes.

Another outcome that would hit home would be to have the heart-wrenching choice where you have to decide who lives and who dies, similar to the endings in A Way Out, Splinter Cell: Conviction (co-op mode), Double Dragon

Exactly!

I also think the Yautja or human characters shouldn’t be a player chosen/made. They should be unique characters that the developer/writer/art teammade should make. Because sure we get attached to nameless player made characters all the time, but we get emotionally attached to non-player made characters more often

That is very true

I’ve never finished a TellTale game before, but your idea sounds good 👍
I have played Until Dawn and Heavy Rain

Loved Until Dawn, maybe Predator could be turned back into somewhat of a Horror Game. Then again Alien will be cool to see as a Telltale game too.

Predator needs more love right now, because Alien already has Alien Isolation

They honestly do, movies & games! The only thing I think Predators fandom got right is the comics

I wouldn’t know because I’ve never read a Predator comic

I’d be down for a game like this.

Same!

So pick-your-adventure movies with 3 choice buttons and not actual games?
But I would play it regardless ngl, idk how well made these are because I never finish them.

Still better than the last of us which is purely a movie where you jump from cutscene to cutscene so ill give you that.

They are strictly story driven with their action scenes being everything they should be. I believe with the right people it would be awesome

All I heard was Batman/Predator/Game heck ya 😎

There’s more to those kinds of games then just you press button and story continues. Sometimes you can find hidden items or events that change the outcome of a scene completely.

A few examples using some a few key moments from some of the movies

  1. Dutch doesn’t come to the the conclusion that JH87 can’t see him because he’s covered in mud, but instead thinks the Predator just doesn’t see him as far game

    • Result: Dutch doesn’t mud up for his final battle, making his battle that much harder (potentially leading to his death)
  2. Celtic doesn’t hesitate and immediately kills NetHead/Grid

    • Result: Celtic lives and helps Scar and Lex kill the Queen. Scar still dies but Celtic makes an appearance in AVPR (dead or alive)
  3. The Crucified predator finds the axe Royce used to finish of Mr.Black

    • Result: Crucified lives longer dealing heavy damage to Mr.Black (potentially winning the fight)

If you want @NomadClanyou can use this as an example in the original post, just quote my text
