thats a good tip, ive been forcing myself to do that altough i really dislike playing as fire team,
Attack from a distance, use guerilla tactics, stick to the shadows, small ambushes, hit and run, stuff like that. Use at least one ranged primary weapon, such as the Yautja Bow, Handheld Plasmacaster, or Smart Disc. Use a good melee weapon such as the elder sword, combi-stick, or katana. Make sure that before you go in with melee, land at least one or two attacks from your ranged weapon.
Also watch Samhain13’s Predator videos, he has a playlist of the best tips and tricks for Predator. He is god at both FT and Pred.
good tips, luckily ive been doing all of that (after making all the noob mistakes before)
ranged ussually bow and for melee combi stick, messing with the axe that i just unlocked aswell
(update) i really like the axe, it sucks to give up the ranged option with combi stick, but as a pure melee weapon i like it way better!)
keeping up the dps with ranged, then when they are low and hopefully one is split off a bit i go in for the kill
any tips on how to stay hidden more?
for example i didnt know that switching my vision mode is so visible to the fireteam, once i found out it did really help me stay hidden better
or
like, with teh combi stick, if u throw it it blind the enemy yeah?, i mean even if you miss
how close does the hit need to be?. how bad is the blinding effect for the fireteam?
its so hard to test this stuff out since i hate playing fireteam
ow and does it really pay to get a dlc pred?
ive been using standard hunter mostly
Use cloak and get behind objects or buildings and if possible use ditherd lens.
Toss audio decoys during a battle
But place them strategically so they don’t get destroyed by FT
Change positions frequently
I tend to focus on builds with high mobility and damage output.
Scout, exile, valk, maybe Hunter. Long jump adrenal down range. Bow, disk, maybe combi or elder sword to get in close on snipers.
I do have a Mr. Black build that’s mean as shit. Long jump adrenal down range. He’s super mobile, tanky, lots of energy reserve, and paired with viscous. Very good build. Maybe my new favorite.
The most versatile build in the game is
Jungle Hunter '87/Hunter/Captured
Fervent or Tracker
Combistick
Yautja Bow or Plasma Pistol
Heal kit, Bear traps
Large pouch, Medic, Down Range.
If you are a more veteran player or just simply a better player then use Smart Disc instead of Combistick as it is more meta if you have good ping
