Is it possible deal with full PC Fire Team ? Seems like not. You have only one chance to do that - if you play against pure noobs, people with some connection issues and maybe if you talanted gamer ( who played against noobs ;) ), in other ways you always has been spoted and get shots right in your face on far distance. I’ve spend on this game a lot of time ( playing in this game since it has been released ) and I have one opinion about this: Fire Team is more powerfull then Predator. If I play vs. PS4 players or team like 2 PC and 2 PS4 - I win in 80% cases but if I face with PC only… the game turns right in the true HELL, some kind of hardcore, my chances to win is near 10 - 15%. And same situation if I’m playing in full PC FT: our team always kill PS4 Predator and I can’t remember any one match when PS4 Predator has been as winner. PS4 Predators almost always suck in this game, PC Predators is more dangerous but still weaker then PC FT. When you play as FT you easely detected him coz his footstep is too loud, he makes loud clicks, and this FT ability “mark the Predator” - is f*cking IMBA coz it allows you to see that hunter even through walls or anyes others objects - nonsense is more powerfull then predator’s thermal scaner and I don’t say anything about bugs with movements, weapons, stucking in trrees and other objects etc. In my conclussion, crossplatform matches is main problem wich don’t allow to build any balance in this game and there is allways will be appear people who will complain something like that: " Predator is too overpowered" or vice versa but in other ways play without crossplatform, only with PC players becoming is not possible in cases with match searching - it take a lot of time. However balance in PC side is broken in FT side. Maybe I’m wrong? But I’d not seen too much videos where Pred player could defeat full PC FT, just few videos where somebody playing vs. really bad coordinated noobs. I think these are mostly specially selected videos with victories maybe 1/10. All that things are my opinion builded on my experience with this game.
Predator vs FULL PC Fire Team
Oh guys come on, I’m not a bad guy I swear. I just play on PC.
The skill (or limitation) discrepancy between PC & PS4 is far larger for FT than it is for Predator.
As a PC player, who very frequently plays in coordinated PC squads, I’ve encountered a number of very good PS4 Predators.
I’ve also come across many many low skill PC players.
There is absolutely more potential for a PC player to be ‘good’, but it is by no means a certainty.
Spotting the Predator is not really imbalanced, as it only lasts for a short period of time.
I agree with your point about cross-playing balancing being difficult. It is.
You said yourself that your winrate is ~80% when playing against 2 PC+2 PS4.
and your win-rate against full coordinated PC is 10-15%.
How many of your games are against a full PC team?
What kind of win-rate do you want? 100%? 90%?
There are Predator players that I’ve never beaten with a Full PC squad. It’s not common, but they certainly exist.
If Predator players continue to say the FT is too strong, what happens to those PS4 FT’s that already struggle as much as they do?
For every extra win a Predator player wants, they are pushing for extra losses for 4 other players.
I just cannot imagine making this game any harder for PS4 FT’s than it already is.
You cannot base the core balance of a game around the top tier players and skill level.
If you think you are good at the game and have a win rate above 50%, then be happy with that.
You cannot say(imply) “Because my opponent was able to place his crosshair on me more, I lost the game.” (vs PC FT)
There are often many things you could have done better, but have perhaps become accustomed to not doing because of your easy games against PS4 FT’s.
You must also accept that there is only so good you will get, and only so much practice you can put into a game based on your lifestyle and spare time. There will be groups/people in the world that you simply will never be able to beat (They either are inherently better players, or have far more time to invest). It’s not worth getting upset about it. Either choose to fight them, and see what you learn, or avoid them entirely if you’d rather not waste your time.
My winrate as quick play Predator is over 90%. I wish I could play more Private matches, but the Peer 2 Peer makes that difficult. However I played a Private match against a group of guys I often play FT with recently, and I lost. Not decisively, but I lost. I know why I lost, and it was because I made mistakes, and they played well.
I don’t want buffs or nerfs to things anymore. I want more options. I don’t want to see 3 or 4 main “builds” that discount 80% of all perks and weapons as basically useless.
I want to encounter a Predator that has come up with some interesting concept that completely changes their playstyle to something I’ve never seen before. I want to encounter a Fire Team that challenges me, not just because they can aim well, but because they have a series of gear and perks that makes me alter the way I play, and dynamically change my behaviour.

its must be some “buff” for PS4 gamers like aim assist or something like that
This “short period of time” can do all 4 members in squad and it build in “constantly combo spotting”

…also PC players have more advantage with some “goodies” like custom DPI or macros, example: set repeat command for your action key and you easily can remove predator’s net by one time button’s pushing

That is an issue, although one that could be easily fixed by using a “push and hold” mechanic instead of a “repeated press” system they have currently.
Although I think it is a very small minority that actively do this. It rarely decides the outcome of a game.
I would be happy for PS4 players to get any of the following at this point: (as stupid as it might sound)
- Built-in damage resistance or extra health.
- Extra revives\downs
- Extra reinforcements
- Delayed free respawn
While I’m a PC player, I acknowledge the the PS4 population and the fact that cross-play exists, is very much helping keep this game alive.
I feel it’s important to cater to the enjoyment of the PS4 FT players, as without them, this game may face some serious struggles.
Plus it’s always amusing hearing little kids scream. In all seriousness, I don’t disagree with the extra goodies Viper recommends, bc I don’t believe it’ll really change the outcome anyway.
If a pc player can shoot u right in face from a far distance,it’s more likely that those players are super pros.thats because it’s just impossible to keep aim just at Predators FACE constantly unless pred isnt moving at all.add to the fact that most weapons don’t have enough damage when fired from far away.even if they are using snipers,recoil times are big enough for Predator to escape
I just wish there was a way to know who spotted you first, so you can kill them last.
You cant use macro for net any more , pc player are better because they just have better skill not for these things 😂. Custom dpi? You really want to consider dpi option like cheating? Come on is like changing your sense on a pad…
You can absolutely win against a full PC FT, you just need to adjust your tactics, as we are conditioned to shoot and spot at everything that moves like the predator. (for example these typical predator leaps, or something jumping around in the trees like a squirrel)
So if you want to approach a full PC FT, rather stay on the ground!
I also have the impression that PC Fireteams are just more organized than PS4 Teams, as most PS4 players here play less competitive and more casual.
There is just one thing that I really find unfair to PS4 players, which involves the graphics.
If I put my graphic settings on max, I can see the predator 3 seconds longer until he goes completely invisible when standing still, I also can barely see a slight shadow of a completely cloaked pred through my 6x and 10x scopes, which isn’t possible on my friends PS4.
