So I was playing a match with a friend trying to do the whole Pred vs Pred thing and we just discovered that pred damage to pred is percent based and not point based.
So a plasma shot, an arrow hit or a combi throw will take X percentage of health, regardless if you are zerker, hunter, scout, etc.
Basically, because of this, it will do more damage points to tankier preds than it will to lighter preds.
So Scout meta?
I mean, FT damage is still point based, so zerker will still be able to withstand more damage against FT compared to a scout, but against a pred, class doesn’t matter.
This explains vikings getting the stab. Their secondary bonuses like additional melee damage are irrelevant also?
Did not test any perks as we both had down range, used the same weapons and played only one match, but I suspect perks and passive are also only against FT. He was using Viking and I was using Valkyrie.
That combistick throw damage is an outrage
