Ima agree with you but also disagree, I feel with clash they will enhance the preds combat skills by adding a block or parry and also add different attacks like light and heavy. I dont think we will get a solely pred vs pred combat mode it will take away from hunt and clash per say. But I feel like the preds will get a rework on there melee capability

I’d really really like it if they made a big hunt mode and gave you the option to go rogue so you can be declared bad blood. Think that would be the coolest way personally

A Predator vs Predator mode is inevitable, but I don’t think we’ll be getting it this year (possibly not even next year)

I really hope not. If they do a pred v pred mode it will not save this game tbh.

I personally think that by the time they add it in, the game will be in a good state were it’s not suffering.

My productions for this game

  • The game will be saved hopefully by or before it’s 1 year anniversary
  • Predator vs Predator mode will come in sometime around the games 2 year anniversary
  • Aliens will be added to the game or we get an AVP spin-off game after 2 year anniversary

Feel they san EASILY borrow starwars battlefront way of combat.

If both preds attack at same time = block. Or no damage/ flinch to make it look like fluid fighting?

Certain weapons have better blocking and certain weapons have better at hitting through said block.

We only have so many buttons, there literally isn’t enough room for any more inputs unless they allow us to use a button for 2 inputs.

Battlefront 2 “parry” system is a exploit the devs of the game said time and time again. Battlefront 2 hero combat is the worst lightsaber or saber combat ever dont. That game is just who can spam first wins which is the current meta in clash with pred vs pred

I do believe it’s coming to the PS5 but cross play won’t make the jump

Dont make a difference to me this game will not be on my ps5 unless the 3v12 game mode is super fun other than that this game diea for me on 11/12/2020

Maybe the Square button could be used to either

  • Block or perry melee attacks
  • Switch fighting styles

If I remember correctly the PS4 version will be playable on PS5

I mean with all but two melee weapons L2 does nothing so that could easily be a heavy. Parry can be the same for pred as fr. and hold R2 and L2 for block pretty simple

Its all good. The Pred has very simple controls it would be easy to re work melee tbh
