Deffinately a better fit if any. I want some good predator comics, original stories, and actual artists again. All disney alien and predator comics art are trash. All we got for alien was making the head of the hierarchy beign some fuckin alien/human chick completely fuckin up how the queen was at the top amd with predator we got some flawless girl boss who can effortlessly kill any and all predators she comes across. Tired of disney alien and predator they gonna star wars these 2 IPs smh

Yeahhhh lol. I mean not gonna lie, the first series was pretty cool, Pred was killing everyone and Iām surprised they allowed that. But then it went all LSD WTF by having Archie somehow becoming the Predatorā¦? I couldnāt follow that story at all. Got some sweet art from them, though. I actually own the issue with the second cover here, I thought it was sick.

Since Marvel has attained the rights for Predator they have in fact been making Predator Comics that are stand alone and theyāre actually pretty good they even brought back Detective Schaefer from the old comic lines and even made references to those stories (Concrete Jungle, Cold War, ect.) itās all on the Marvel Digital Unlimited app š¤

I think itās undeniable how amazing the cover arts for Predator Comics are, perfection I say.
Though I am excited to see how the Predator will handle some of Spider-Manās villians since thatās whatās gonna lead to them confronting each other I believe. Iād love to see Kraven (he HAS to make a appearance), Rhino, Scorpion, Electro, etc.
I mean itās not all bad I think itās kind of interesting having them be made a part of Marvel, as supposedly The PvsW and PvsBP are considered as canon events. It adds a new intergalactic race to the melting pot, and the potential interactions and storylines could be really good with the right writers. Itās better than them being stuck in perdition with no new content and no re-releasing of legacy content š¤· Iām a Yautja Die Hard so Iāll consume just about anything with them attached to it š

The wolverine vs predator was ok although we know marvel will never have thier heros lose or depicted getting the sine ripped out. Batman vs predator was done extemely well. My boy had em all and let me bkrrow them and it felt reasonable.
To me tho all these crossovers thier gonna do are lazy and im annoyed by it and it doesnt help that the disney has a monopoly on both alien and predator and now we gonna get girl bosses, girl/alien whos higher than the queen now. Im a die hard for both and bringin in super heros with super powers vs a predator is the stupidest idea. Batman has no super powers so it worked and wolverine is kinda a cheat character but i did like parts of that one. I can go on but shit is ass imo. They coulda came up with spin offs from the movies or that respect established lore but we know disney wipes thier ass with established lore and characters so that is why anything they put out dealing with both alien an predator i go in with shit exoectations cus i know thier motive and ots dogshit. Anyway if you enjoy it, lucky for you cus i hate it with a capital H lol -_-

Well they subtlety kind of hinted at the āpower scalingā if you will in a general sense when the predator attacked the mansion like when Rogue touched him instead of being totally wrecked by her he just kind of shrugged her off and was like peace Iām out Iām not here for them Iām here for you wolvie so that at least means they can stand up to good amount of heroes in terms of strength and durability plus thereās nothing saying that some are stronger than others or that they can enhance themselves by one of the many means marvel has to get higher in the scaling of power š¤· like I said something is usually better than nothing and I did like how they made that particular Predator and actual integral if rather a secret until now part of wolverines backstory using the predator mask to help design the helmet Wolverine wore during weapon x was a nice touch that I personally enjoyed which is now canon as far as Iām aware š it looks like Predators will have their own standalone Canon moving forward which has already acknowledged the legacy stories as well as the movies and even the game as it states as such in opening of each new comic in like a dosier kind of format and they are now as a race considered canon In the marvel universe š
Oh well still lame but not as bad as if they made those canon in the predator universe. Ill stick to darkhorse tho and i guess many feel the same. The comic stores around me are always stocked with disneys idea of alien and predator but they always mention that darkhorse alien, predator, avp fly off the shelves and dont usually last when they get them in stock.

Honestly the new Alien stuff is pretty good as well, since they also acknowledge of the Dark Horse legacy and the movies as well š but Iām thinking it will be the same MO in that they have their own canon which takes place in the far future out in space and that they as a race are now also canon in Marvel, they already tied them to cosmic level canon with the introduction of āThe Goddess in The Darknessā which is tied to Knull in some way š¤· havenāt finished those yet š¤ but itās a cool idea that the Xenomorphs were not created by the engineers but in a sense copied or remade in an attempt to use them for their own purposes and that this is a cyclical occurrence for all races who encounter them š that they have āalways been hereā and that they are the Proverbial āFire that Cleansesā and keeps the balance in the universe all in all fairly interesting and more cohesive than the constant retcons and rewrites on the Fox/Dark Horse side which can be a little exasperating at times š
Well luckily not many are as enthused as you are so still very lame lol disney alien and predator is dogshit to me and the best thing to happen in your eyes lol im jus glad most ppl feel the same cus maybe theres hope disney wont be able to fuck up 2 franchises that are dear to me. They already fucked up star wars and others that they now own so hopefully the thomas brothers get thier rights back and we dont have to suffer disneys lame ideas. Dark horse and fox are canon to me not anything disney puts out lol.

I never said it was the best thing ever š but itās been better than I expected š¤· itās an interesting direction maybe not revolutionary or anything but it could have been much worse and for that Iām glad š and at for now they still recognize all of the Dark Horse legacy as canon whether that will change or be directly added to who knows but either way thereās new content being made which keeps the franchises in Peopleās minds and prompts them to go back and read the legacy stories which keeps them alive and allows new generations to experience the stuff we grew up with which is a win in my book šš¤
