Predator Weapons Aren't Viable/Marine changes

I have been playing a ton in the past 2 days since release, both in predator & marine. The predator while fun (at the start) & having a variety of weapons to chose from, sucks & is a repetitive cycle. The only weapons that are viable to the predator are the bow & the combistick. The bow isn’t really viable because most of these people run berserker so after they miss 17 shots with their bow, then they can just run in with the combistick & down everybody. How is this fun? Let me list some options i feel would make weapons viable & make the game overall more terrifying for Marines.

  • Let the Elder Sword do bleed damage.

  • The smart disc need to be like the smart disc in avp (2010). Controlling the smart disc with the red lazer is a much more fun & interactive experience. & the smart disc ALWAYS needs to come back to you. If you don’t want to make those changes then atleast make it so the disc does bleed & so it always comes back to you.

  • The war club is just doodoo. It’s to slow to keep up with the Marines who just turn & out run you & do 360’s around you so you never hit them. I would suggest just letting this item do like disorientation.

  • The net gun is super good & i feel it needs to be added to the predator as an automatic weapon like the plasma.

  • The hand held plasma caster is good but who wants to use two plasma casters?

  • The Bow is super good, it’s just alot of people (including me) can’t hit their shots lol But when you do, it is insane.

  • The combistick is still busted & is the only viable good weapon in the game because the melee chain can hit multiple people at one time. The melee chain is so smooth & fluid but that’s also what makes it broken. The first & third hit need to be nerfed more.

Now i will list some things for the Marines that need changing.

  • A full team running meds is broken. You could change it so only the Support can carry meds, but then there will just be a team full of supports. You need to make it so classes become locked in game when someone picks a class so that way it creates diversity. Then you can make it where only the support can carry meds.

  • Interaction speeds with everything needs be massivly decreased. Everything needs to take longer. When i play as a marine, i love the interactions where something takes like 10 seconds to do & i have to tell my team to cover me because i’m just a sitting duck. It creates suspense.

  • The marine classes like scout & recon should not be able to catch even remotely up to the predator in the second wind state. Even if we have double time on. We have ran so many predators down with revolvers while they were in second wind state & so many just give up & explode 6 feet in front of us.

  • As a marine, i hate just being able to do like half the objectives before the predator finds us. Let the predator know atleast where our first objective is so they can lay traps & stuff. It’s so boring just walking for free everytime & just waiting for the berserker predator to get impatient & rush with the combistick cause they suck & due to it being the only good safe weapon in the game.

I do agree with the marine idea as far as the predator. With the war club there’s a blade for a reason, what would be cool is have it do some increase damage if charged, or used in a slam attack. The smart disc is fine once the bugs are worked out I don’t have trouble controlling like the beta. The bow is hard to control and hit tagets which is cool, maybe a hold breathe ability to steady it but gives an audible exhale.

I like the war club idea for sure. With smart disc, i would simply just like it to auto return to you everytime. It would make the game for the pred much more conveinent & fluid so that way it’s not like “alright let me use my plasma until they run away” or “Alright let me run in & tank abunch of bullets so i can get my disc back.” It’d just make sure theres less awkwardness in the game if it came back to you
