The game itself has problems with the game balance. I will say in advance that I mostly play for the Squad and do not sink for any of the sides.
- Squad problems:
- Matches are played too fast. The match is given 15 minutes, but the Squad can just ask for all the quests in 5 minutes.
Yes, a predator can “paint a face”, but this will not be a Traitor, but a Slasher (in which the victim will eventually be the Predator itself). - Bots are too fat. It’s really annoying to shoot everyone in the head with half a store.
- the AI is stupid. No positioning, etc. They just run forward. It’s boring. You can sit in the house and cut them with a knife on the CD.
- AI Again. Periodically, they absolutely do not respond to noise nearby. In theory, they should turn on the siren from any loud shot. This will motivate the Squad to play as covertly as possible.
- AI Again. Periodically ignores the Predator, giving preference to the focus on the Squad. It looks very strange when a Berserker calmly jumps into the camp during a firefight and starts chasing the Squad around the camp - while the AI also shoots at the Squad.
- the Squad also needs a friendlifier like air. It is very easy to beat from a Predator timate with grenades and pouring from the miniguns. The predator is offended.
- Another annoying moment: quests trigger spawn bots. What is the point of sneaking into the camp, eliminating everyone by stealth, then activating the quest and spavnit bots, which again provoke noise and attract a Predator? Playing solo against a 1x1 Predator is very difficult in these conditions.
Solutions:
-
- Reduce the walking/running speed of the Squad.
-
- Increase the completion time for each of the quests.
-
- Increase the number of additional quests.
-
- Make bots thinner, but increase their number.
-
- Teach how to use shelters.
-
- Increase the radius of response to noise.
-
- Balance AI targeting.
-
- Add a friendlifier to the Squad.
-
- Add a condition that if the alarm was not raised in the camp = then in all the next quests in this camp, the spawn of agro-bots raising noise will not be triggered.
- Predator problems:
- Very slow speed of climbing, running and jumping trees, even with the choice of the right class and the right perks. The predator, in theory, should very quickly overtake the Squad, play with them like a cat with mice. But in fact, it barely catches up with them when they sprint to the next quest.
- further reduce the noise of stomping, grunting, sounds of Predator devices. The predator, again, is supposed to terrorize the Squad. But in the current build, the top strata is Yoloshit 1x4.
- Weak traps (setemet, trap, etc.).
- Long search for a Predator.
Solutions:
-
- Increase the mobility of the Predator in the trees (including reducing the expenditure of endurance for jumping, running, but not for strikes).
-
- Reduce the volume of all the Predator’s movies and devices.
-
- Add to the Predator the ability to kill the Squad by stealth from the back (just as it kills bots).
-
- Increase the difficulty/time to get out of the traps. Increase damage from traps.
-
- Motivate Players to play more often/more for the Squad. For example, you can add a multiplier to your experience when playing for a Squad.
In General, My vision of the game is that the rinks are a little longer, more exhausting and more horrendous for the Squad. To make it hard for the squad to win. And that the Predator to win acted more gracefully, and not stupidly broke in like John Cena 1x4 during the first three minutes.
Most issues are solved without any new functionality, but with the usual value balancing.
P.S And what if you make a mode with two predators and 8-10 people? This way it is much more interesting and more people will be able to participate in the match
P.S 2
Remove the minimap as it is not needed, let the squad be guided by the compass at the top of the screen
