If they follow the comic line that is going to be a so so movie. If they follow the comic line and expand on it then Im all for it
I think you might have gotten a little bit confused. There was going to be a sequel to predators but it got scrapped. The recent news of it is just what it was going to be about.
I don’t think we will be getting a sequel to it but if we do then I’m all for it.
One would imagine though which came first the script or the comic book sequel? I really didn’t like what was done with Royce in the comic book. Drum it up to bad illustration. I like the ideas put in that script synopsis but it would seem like there is little going on and just centers on the pair in the jungle then meeting new comers…then repeating the predators movie all over again. but aparently they meet or form the new Colonial Marines? Which sounds interesting…if the effort in the film was to create a buff team of mercs.

No idea. I liked the idea of Royce being stranded on the planet being forced to fight to survive but the rest was weird. 4 armed predator? I’ll let that slide because it was connected to the black goo and engineers supposedly.
The script was very different thankfully. Though I’m not sure if it would’ve been all that great. Apparently it was supposed to be “die hard” but for predator and Royce and Isabelle were captured by other super predators and had to escape their ship. Weird.

Lets get that 4 armed pred in this game. He can hold Either 2 combisticks or 4 elder swords or handheld casters. He would be able to grab ft players and throw them around like rag dolls. We need hik to restore balance to the game lol

Tarantino is working on a reboot script right now, he is buddy’s with Rodriguez so it might not be far from a sequel
Thats kind of interesting. I’m not for his style of direction and his nods to other genre of film styles but if he writes it you can gauruntee interesting characters.
The only thing it’s through Disney, God knows what direction it could go. There was talk of a disney+ series but it would have been pg-13. I think it’s shit canned now though, thank god

i have the read the script, ambitious but extremeley ridiculous more likely the ending who taste too much like the predator ending with ripley lmao
While Disney is likely going to do a new Predator (we know they’re interested) no one is aware of any plans moving forward with Predator right now. The only thing spouting a Predator movie is Wegotthiscovered which is an untrustworthy news source.
Otherwise an AVP anime was at one point in production for Netflix but it’s known its dead.
And as of now any Predator plans is either related to Hunting Grounds or whatever Marvel is doing given it’s Alien and Predator line-up is supposed to launch next year.
