So since we are severely depleting the subject matter to discuss on this forum, here is one I thought makes perfect sense and strangely should be debated and affectionately talked about.
The second part of the theory I am exploring and sharing with you is mostly about:
The evident casting of comedians vs serious/physical actors.
Existential performances attributing to how they got involved and why.
Stargazer being inexperienced resorting to hiring crazies is evident in 2018s The Predator, so it is clear that there are obligations in Stargazer to lean towards these character types.
This points directly to the casting decisions in Predators and the divisive character types in this film.
It manifests this criminals vs the super patriots and how they got onboard with their capturing. The very likelihood of them being lured/kidnapped and preyed upon is a serious accusation.
But what it means either way, acquired by Stargazer or OWLF, that they were taken against their wishes or even their knowledge and by all accounts, briefed somewhat or casually on the intel of the alien beings. Thus all of them being open to being neutral about their safety on the planet which they would eventually discover was a reality!
We will return to this thread after reviewing Dutch’s/ Izzabelle’s PHG tapes which i think might have some information regarding the backstory.

An escape pod/lifepod/droppod is clearly stated in the tapes!
The POSITION OF TRUST is also the second thing i want to talk about.
EVERYONE in the cast of characters were shitting themselves and trust was a priority even if they were untrust worthy killers or just plain hired guns.
They are placed on a planet with no means of going back home. The possibility of going back home makes them even more dependent on each other for survival no matter how vulnerable they are currently.
Its evident that even the slightest deviation marks them as trustworth or untrust worthy.
Edwin showing his intelligence about toxic/hallucinagenic plants is point 1.
Point 2. Royce leaving the group for a split second at the ceromonial nest slaughter pit is evidence of this yet moments later where they re-group it is Izabelle that divulges the information, the intel, that she was carrying all this time.
Royce even knew about this himself as he nailed her for knowing! It was purely instinct, he was just baiting her.
It’s possible that without actually having even looked into her eyes while she saw the Yautja, Royce might be suspicious about others knowing about the intel all this time.
Even before they even saw Predators use cloaking devices, Royce goes on a rant about their tech to all of them. QUite Knowledgable if you ask me for a brief moment of fear after they all fell into the waters!
Suspicion is held to Isabell’s character:
How would a highly trained Israel Defense Forces Sniper acquire this information which only Dutch, a mercenary and the leader of a private military team, would know? Dutch’s debrief to OWLF–that would have been the only leak.
HOW WOULD SHE HAVE KNOWN OF THIS INTEL unless otherwise extracted from someone, such as Keyes, or briefed by someone at OWLF!?
Rememeber she’s from Israel. She wasn’t no part of the PMC group hired by that CIA guy who was pushing pencils in Guatamala! In fact we don’t know what year she’s from, but it doesn’t seem like she was sporting that sniper rifle around that time of 1987. So it must have been much much later.
