PREDATORS 2010: The Backstory Theory Part III - A SEASON FOR THE WITCH

So since we are severely depleting the subject matter to discuss on this forum, here is one I thought makes perfect sense and strangely should be debated and affectionately talked about.

This might be an unpopular idea, but if a studio like BRANDYWINE were to produce a new PREDATOR film, it could skillfully blend philosophical concepts with science fiction elements. Imagine a serious movie, featuring a narrative style reminiscent of epic poetry, exploring the moral complexities within military forces – where noble ideals meet the darker aspects of human nature. This is where organizations like OWLF and STARGAZER could contribute to that profound, poetic dimension.

Existing lore often suggests the need for distinct, powerful factions, much like the dominant corporations (Weyland-Yutani and Tyrell Corp.) in the Blade Runner universe. The Alien franchise itself has expanded its world through games like Alien Isolation, which introduced Seegson, and Fireteam Elite, showcasing Hyperdyne’s technology.

Some argue that while traditional weapons lead to destruction, artificial intelligence and synthetic beings might, paradoxically, pave the way for solutions that bring good from evil, an idea that appears in “Predator: Badlands.”

There’s potential for a story with a more serious tone, delving into the origins of iconic synthetic characters like Ash and David, and perhaps even the genesis of Replicants – super-human beings crafted from the genetic blueprint of past human life.

This evolution could potentially impact the “Killer of Killer’s” storyline, provided we accept the end-credits scene as part of the established universe.

It’s even conceivable that the next Predator movie might not feature the Yautja aliens at all. Instead, it could bring back familiar faces from previous films as animated characters or even as live-action, integrated into a backstory completely unrelated to the Predator franchise, much like h0w “Halloween III: Season of the Witch” ventured away from Michael Myers.

Ngl I like your title. Secretly hoping it continues.
