I think pred 87 movie has a particular and strong mistery and suspense and that makes the movie special… but I think preds 2010 has better action

Yea I will openly say that the original is the best. My point is that Predators is second best.

I’ve seen predators like a dozen times. None of the action has tension or makes sense. The scene where they are in the camp? And they kill 1 dude? 3 predators??? Kill one dude? 3 people should have been yoiked before they realized what was going on. All the action was a case of “BECAUSE THE SCRIPT SAYS SO” and it’s apparent. At no point does any of it seem natural
I just don’t understand what your thinking!😂 you have to be joking because otherwise you must not know what a good movie looks like. Every scene in Predators made sense and was with reason. I haven’t ever heard one critic of the movie that said that. But then again it’s your opinion I guess

That’s the equivalent of me saying the original movie didn’t make sense because jungle hunter should have killed Arnold easily in the end hand to hand combat sequence

There’s lots wrong with Predators, about the same amount as Predator 2. They both require you to just roll with it. Not question things.
They can both be good movies but they don’t have the same luxury as the first one in establishing things or having the story serve the Predator. So their stories serve the humans and while the effects in both are superior to the first one, they just aren’t as good a film as it is.
Predators tries to do to much with there characters, which isn’t normally a bad thing but there are just to many of them. Lawrence Fishburne, is grossly under used and the part of the script that bothers me the most. So they have hunts on a schedule, but will let prey hide out and start another on without finishing?, seems contrary to their normal behaviour.
Things like crucified also stand out as shoehorned. He’s just extra padding and an excuse to have a Pred fight.
Literally everyone agrees it’s a bad film. It’s what killed the franchise again, then they tried to reboot with “the predator” which failed again. Predators is a popcorn silly movie at best. And I know that you know I’m right. Cause you hear my points and don’t even attempt to contest you just basically say, nuh uh

No that’s not the equivalent. In the original film the tension of that fight existed because Arnold was able to prove himself worthy, and the predator removed his weapons to have a duel with him. That makes sense. Tell me why full gear predators are losing 1v1 in this movie consistently. Tell me why 3 predators ambush a team and stab one dude then just “miss” all the other times
