Predators dont be a jerk!!

Ok just putting this out there…

I was in a FT in the wating section. one of 3 soldiers ready to go and 1 Predator player ready to go. . we was waiting on a 4th FT. but players got bored and left, leaving me there with just the predator player.

BUT knowing how long Predator players have to wait in the long ass queue i was like " you know i wont just run off, i will stick this out so that predator gets some game play " trying to be show some good sportsmanship . So it was me on my own Vs a Predator and i knew i would never make it but i would try.

I had HOPED that Predator player would see this and at least give me some time to fight some AI and get some bonus for faithfully staying for him, kind of a thank you, ya know?

BUT ooooh no. he just rushes down as i apprach the first base section and insta kills me which ultimatelt game both of us very little XP points or fun.

Ok i know some will be like " well GET GUD!" and i know that. I am not saying i am a good FT player. and i would have given my all to give that Predator a fight had he/she played it out more, used some stealth and ‘predator’ tactics to at least make it worth both our while.

So Predators, please please appreciate those few FT soldiers that dont bail on you. let them have a little fun on the map before you wipe them out!

I would have poked you at first in some regards but then I would’ve started hunting you for real and give you a real challenge

I do get that and i knew i was never gonna make it. But i wanted to at least try and see how far i could get and had hoped the Predator player would have ‘toyed’ with me a bit, like a cat with a mouse. Just a shame. I know had i been the Predator and saw 1 FT player didnt leave when alone which would have reset that predator right back to the starting queue i would have appreciated it and maybe stalkled that player for some time, let them grab some bonus and XP before i ultimately de-skulled them :)

He has no honor. I usually suggest to one brave man a duel with only on basic melee weapon.

Now THAT i get!! no guns, no lasers, combat knife vs pred blades stand off. Gosh that excites me!

If he had dropped down to the ground, stood there and roared and i dunno made it obvious it was a stand off i would have obliged. BUt i guess his concern is that i may have been a pleb FT player who then just shot at him. Would have been fun thought being 1 vs 1 to have gone at it like arni did at the end of the movie

I never understood preds that rush one/two player teams… if theres only one FT From the lobby(i’m talking only 1 or 2 from the get go), then have some fun. Stalk them, let them play, if theres two, then kill one and let the other reinforce.

I let one player FTs escape…

If that happens to me, I would try to team up with the ft member and fight against AI.

I really welcome these comments, thank you. glad i was not the only one bothered by it. I understand not everyone is like minded and some just see blood and rush and kill to get that lust over.

I was insta-blapped from no range. just landed right on me, netted me and slashed me to death in no time at the start. was sad. we both come out of it with barely 1000 xp each.

To be honest when that game timer got to zero and i was in that Blackhawk at the start rolling in and alone i was terrified knowing i was by myself . But i lifted my chin and was like " ok i can do this… i can get this objective done on my own and will give that predator a run for their money"

Then 10 paces in killed. :( sighs

You have every right to be bothered. Theres no sport in picking on one lone Fireteam player…

its different if you killed all their buddies and they’re the last one left. But if they were the only FT to enter the match… killing them like that, that fast is lame…

I played one match as a single FT. And got wiped out before even getting to the first objective… it leaves a bad taste in your mouth…

I would charge them uncloak and right as I get near then bust out my PC and start blasting AI, a few times they would take about half my health before the realized what I was doing but back off after that, locational voice chat helped a lot with this, over 90%of the AI kills ive accrued were in these games.

Depends on the type of player you go up against. If I’m ever against 1 or 2 FT members I try to approach them calmly to see if they pick up I won’t be hostile. Most of the time FT players realize what’s happening and I help them complete their mission.

Well, maybe this Predator was really upset because of the previous games and… and you were the only soldier he was able to kill in a day :)

As for me, I try to show my respect to the FT players who are all alone and still try to play, not leaving. Let them do the missions and kill them in the end. Same for teams of 2 members, though I can bite them a bit during the game. Unfortunately, yesterday I bite them too hard - unexpectedly killed one of them with a bow :(

Kills are everything to me but only one human against me pfffff… Walk in the park… toying is the second best thing to me

I had this happen as I was predator. I just left the match myself to avoid the embarrassment

Last night I killed a FT (7kills) and some girl got on the mic at the end and called me a pussy for collecting their trophy for each kill, she kept saying “you killing people who are AFK…” I couldn’t believe it, LOL, trophy = AFK now.

I would have just slowly played that game and really hunt if it’s one on one. No need to rush a game like that. There are some ppl that don’t have good sportsmanship and just want their ego stroked

Yeah to be honest I played as predator VS 2 people and I killed both of them one by one, but hear me out. When you queue as a predator for 10+ minutes, you end up doing something else. I legit come to my PC when the game already started, so often I don’t even know how many people I am playing against. So, there’s that.

in games where 1 or more leave i will let them finish the mission.

down them, let them reinforce and we all get XP

If its just 1 fireteam i help them finish the mission lol
