I didn’t. I played real fps like Doom and Quake. And before you say they are easy go play some Quake Champions or Quake3/Quake Live. I can guarantee you 110% that you’ll get rekt hard. There’s no map markers, no objective way points or any of that visual aid. You have memorize the maps and locations of weapons and items and try to control the entire map agaisnt other players. Also if you stand still for even 1 second you’re dead. CoD is child’s play compared to Quake.

I just want to the cloak to actually work. And I want everything available to the predator. There’s some stuff they left out of the game. Maybe because they don’t know how to code it in such a way that is easy and intuitive.

Lift yes but in predator two after a lengthly engagment and sustained damage he got beat by an old guy harrington was old and fairly out of shape, hand to hand the perry should stay so it is done.

When he lifted Dutch at the end of the original Predator he did it with ease. And Dutch is a muscly dude. An old man would be like a little kid to him. Parrying something that is larger and heavier than you is not possible. What if he could pick up a FT guy and throw him like a rag doll? Where is that mechanic?

It’s just for gameplay mechanics - if it wasn’t a parry system, there’d be something else to counter the Predator when he’s coming in hot.

The weapons in this game need adjustments. Plain and simple the ft has perks that give it a good advantage. That’s including respawns with full health and ammo. Crates at your disposal. Limited time to find and kill the ft. Boars aren’t plentiful. You can be spotted like nothing. I’ve won and lost games and trust me you gotta work pretty damn hard with those odds especially if the ft never breaks up. And lets not forget you gotta two shot fully charge plasma bolts to down and kill a single fire team member. So yes there are adjustments that need to be made. Even the predkor has bugs aswell that can cost you games.

I’m not gonna just say the player wasn’t smart enough or get good line. This game is not perfect. If it was we wouldn’t be stuck exploiting these borken metas right now. Hopefully these balance changes help the game and expand how we play rather than restrict them.

aha…no…NO NO NO, for start you are suppose to be stealth and in this game you are every thing but stealth with elephant foot steps (while sneaking!!!)cloak, that highlights you like a Christmas tree in a dark room from a distance and clicking sounds announcing to every one where you are(standing still is now useless). Every range weapon leaves a super visible trailer disclosing your position(eaven spear and arrows… WHY!!!), you are slower than recon class human, you are unable to defend yourself in hand to hand combat against a knife(with which you can be butchered in 2 seconds), your enemy is literally immortal and can come back from dead, their weapons have NO recoil and bullets are not subjects to laws of physics (not like your range weapons)… No, its not about people playing it wrong or being bad, its about devs making it impossible to play as stalker/hunter. You only option, and only if you are lucky, berserker+combistic+rage attack… this is not how I want to play as the predator, I refuse to play that way. This gameplay is fundamentally broken. Period
Oh! I forgot to mention the FUC**** SPAM SPOTTING AND MARKING OF A STEALTH PREDATOR!!!
Stop talking shit how good you are, quz you are not - its technically impossible unless you are a berserker with bullet proof perk and combistik

God some people with there egos so your saying that people that dont know how to play the predator shouldnt play the game what are you even saying then illfonic can just give the money back to every single one that paid for the game that cant play the game… some people with there egos thinking everything revolves around them because they are sooo good at the game jesus christ get your head out of your horses ass. Update: wow so many replies ! people have suggested constructive criticism, and you are right !
tips for being a better predator: use the net gun. USE THE LASER CANNON AND CHARGE IT. I hardly see anyone using the laser cannon. Use the berserker predator with the combistick. also go into a private match with a friend or just yourself and get a feel for the predator, or replay the tutorial. The game just is not fun right now because a lot of people are not experienced enough to play as the predator. Fighting the AI and doing missions gets boring very fast. for those saying the knife parry is op, just use the net gun. also if you down someone with the laser cannon, charge it up fully to finish them off. you do not always need to claim trophies. those are my tips hope you enjoy

In my opinion and its only just that.

  1. Parry needs a cool down or a limit of 2 parries over a period of time for instance 20 seconds
  2. Spotting needs a group cool down, you should be able to spot the Pred but not all the time like a wall hack
  3. Plasma Cannon shots being blocked by a leaf is the most annoying thing.
  4. Second wind I don’t know what it needs but it should be a second chance not a death sentence

The thing that I noticed by playing Pred and how to win is to actually utilise my Equipment and to stay moving and alternating from the ground to the trees and on top of buildings, Toying with your trophies.
Energy Management is very important and not get greedy to overload your energy.

If you down someone you don’t have to finish them off, someone will run off to help them, isolate the other players, throw down a trap on the wounded person. Make sure they use most of their utility and Meds early, eventually someone will eventually make a mistake you can take them out. I play the hunter.

Don’t finish off a full heal if you feel your being rushed. Cancel it, go invis and isolate the target rushing you but jumping a way and hitting them with your ranged equipment force them back.

You cannot win every time.
