Predecessor to the Pulse Rifle?

How would you guys feel about a predecessor to the iconic Pulse Rifle being made for use in the game?

I know it screams Alien, but has been used just as effectively against Yautja in the 22nd century, no reason an earlier model can’t be used in the current era.

The Pulse Rifle from Aliens would be an incredible addition. Hell, add the Smart Gun for good measure.

But I think Illfonic has rights to Predator only, so extra fanservice for our other favorite franchise might not be possible.
