Who likes or dislikes Predkour and why?

I tend to not use it unless I’m getting around quicker as a bigger character. Most of the time I use it because I want to jump a small rock and end up climbing the nearest tree by accident usually ruining any plan of attack I was about to make or quick claim.

I think it’s a cool system and flows really nicely when you get going. BUT as a PS4 player it can be quite a pain without being able to change it’s button seperate from jump to something unused like tap up on d-pad (at least not that I’ve found)

Don’t use it except for a quick dodge in between trees at most and then immediately dismount. It’s too loud and too obvious unless you’re playing vs ps4 because it takes them longer to look upwards.
And sucks as a way of traversing the map when you can just mash leap and efficently cover the map in seconds.

Yes. Most of the time when I am in a tree, it is because the darn game put me there by mistake.

I play ground and tree game, you have to split your time between both. It’s also easier to get tracking indicators while elevated. If you are going to use the trees, instead of being in the tree closest to the FTs, try to stay one or two back to give you some standoff and branches to help camo your cloak. Then get very proficient with making long range shots with the bow on unsuspecting FTs. Do not spam the bow, it will give you away. Take your time and make good shots. But once you are spotted drop to the ground and completely relocate.

I use trees mainly for observation, as disposable positions in order to shoot an arrow at a guy who stops smearing in the mud. Sometimes I use trees as a highway to quickly cross the map. I don’t use trees at all in battle, it’s suicide.

I use it for quick round abouts and branch jumping which can be better than a leap over fire team since you’re up high still.

But outside of line of sight/fire maneuvering and invisibility use with bow shooting I don’t rely on it for much else. Its not the fastest way to get around at all.

I will say when you climb up, climb down branches you can recover a nice bit of energy if you run modified reserves and you’ll be in a “blind” spot on the other side of the tree with cover for those 2 or so seconds.

Running through trees through a whole round flashing cloak on and off can throw some people off, not a lot but enough to get around them. The random drop down can keep them looking up while you’re creeping on the ground to the other side.

I use it as much as possible, permitting lag or bugs don’t cause me to glitch run up into the air and drop. Lore Pred does as lore demands
