Preds ain't shit

Killscreen handles shit based on mass per unit time, not the speed of the projectile. It handles Sniper Rounds from Railguns.

*"Upgrade - Killscreen Generator

Given its duty to lead the charge against even technically advanced enemies, the Vanguard requires a defensive system to protect against enemy fire. That system is the killscreen generator. This projection spines on this weapon emit unstable streams of dark plasma particles that vaporize incoming enemy projectiles. The killscreen can only vaporize so much mass per unit time, however, enabling enemies to overwhelm the system with large numbers of projectiles."*

As for the limits for what it can actually vaporize, I have tested it defending against bullets, acid, and facehuggers themselves from the actual description. While this does sound like an assumption, I would say that Vanguards would handle Plasma projectiles as well since I have documented Spear Masters tanking Plasma Shots from Hunters, Pred-Guns, and even other Spear Masters with Plasma Glaives.

I want to give you the benefit of the doubt on Boba’s Sonic resistance, but again there’s no hard proof.

cause to be very frank with you if you can’t find a predator light speed feat without using
hypothetical no limits predator (predator leader figures on yautja prime)

boba fett will always take this W

light has no mass it’s an instant projectile

and again this doesn’t mean it literally stops lazer rounds as plasma isn’t lazers

that’s fair

Oh, shit, you got me there. And honestly I forgot about this but I tired testing a Orbital Bombardment thing from a Com-Tech (assassination thing from space that reduces whoever it kills to ashes upon death) and Kill Screen couldn’t counter it.

Phoenix Armor still negs tho.

yup and i mentioned in my qoute phoenix armor results in niether side can kill each other cause predator couldn’t hit boba fett without suiciding a nuke (he will probably survive said nuke predator could also do this w/o armor as it could just be his opening move as i have to allow predator should always get the opening move simply because boba fett doesn’t walk around with thermal on but the moment a noise happens he can react to it) and boba just doesn’t have a weapon that could get through said armor (well the rocket probably could but it’s too slow to hit the predator)

as to be blunt predators are pretty solid opponents as long as they aren’t fighting something too much faster than a bullet as they have plenty of tools and experience to put up a fight but not any feats that make them faster than a bullet

but as vs battles go if speed is to much higher than the opposing character and the speedster has kill capability there isn’t much the opponent can do

I like to think that if we were to see the predators actual military, like a glimpse of what we saw in AvP: Extinction, that they’d be able to wipe out whole civilizations with ease. We kinda saw what they were capable of when having a whole clan with no honor code show up from planet to planet wiping people out as well, the bad blood clan known as the “killers”.
Point is that a basic predator with basic gear and operating with an honor code up against most other franchises? Yeah…probably gonna lose more then he’d win. A military predator with no gear restrictions like having multiple laser cannons with the power equivalent to superman’s laser eyes, a netgun equivalent to Cyrax’s net trap from MK that could cut people into bits, and not operating under a honor code and perhaps under unique military rules of engagement letting him destroy anything?..I’d think he could tear Boba Fett apart😏. We still haven’t seen the highest extent of their technology and combat prowess, it’d be cool if a movie director/comic writer would take that leap forward with the character.

We’re only being showed their deaths, that’s why we’re watching it, we’re missing their triumphs.

Top secret.

That’s how I’ve always imagined the potential for Yautja’s. They literally treat Hunting as a “sport” like boxing, MMA, etc. Combat within a strict rule set. All out warfare would be much different, but I would assume their most dangerous enemies would be Bad Blood types, like the super preds, that give themselves a huge advantages for easy kills and capture and torture others within their species.

what about hunting

Maybe sport shooting. Actual hunting is not much of a sport, IMO, because any sane person is going to ensure there own safety and advantage. Animals are one hundred percent melee, so it’s not much “sport” if you’re just shooting them, especially with a gun.

not canon

movie says their civil war is still just stringing eachother up and hunting eachother

or cyborg upgrade guy just caves their face in a parking lot.
At this point I dont think they even have planet glassing capabilities, they’re too self centered on making themselves the super mega ultimate deadly being but lose everytime

Upgrade doesn’t exist. No one speaks of the abomination.
I don’t think just because they strung one up means that’s what an actual war would look like for that species.

movies have yet to display otherwise

Yes I know but in predators they were on their planet planning their little hunting game and idk how the captured ended up on the planet but we’re either gonna set him lose to hunt him or just have him as a prisoner.

You mean the super predator?

Yeah but I general I was talking about how just because the string up the classic pred doesn’t mean that is their war tactics. If a full scale war was going on there’s be a bunch of preds on either side and I’m sure we’d see many more weapons and armor than we’ve seen in any movie so far

I was just fkn with you by calling upgrade the super pred lmao. I honestly dont really know much about pred lore, like in terms of how advanced their tech is and how powerful they actually are. But from what weve seen from them typically, they’re not that powerful.

Like compared to many other characters and series.

Someone brought up a good point tho, weve never really seen anything showing their victories.
