First, divide per minute firerate by 60 and that’s the per second, so it seems a little arbitrary.

The reason I chose the per second fire rate, was to simplify the damage per second, because when, trying to determine which weapons are going to put the predator into second wind, it really only takes about 2 to 4 seconds with any weapon.

I don’t have anything uploaded. I could do it, but I find little motivation to do it.

If you ask me, however, I would definitely share and look for any information you ask, as I find more motivation in helping others by directly answering questions than by just sharing random information that few, if any, will find relevant

There’s no issue in choosing to express firerate in shots per second or per minute. Is just the matter of the limitation of 60 FPS that seems to give off values from those found in the game files. It is far more evident as the fire rate gets higher. You were down right on QR-4, AR-W, Hammerhead and mercenary, more than likely because the fire rate is 600 shots per minute and divides perfectly on 60 FPS. The minigun, having a firerate of 5000 shots per minute will showcase the deficiencies of calculating with gameplay, as on console framerate is limited to 60 fps, and even on PC, this damn game has a fluctuation of fps that makes it impossible to calculate because you can’t get anything constant past around 80 fps.

I have a 144 Hz monitor and even if my GPU is at 60% usage, the game is not pushing 144 fps while in a match, even on a private hosting myself with no bots and no AI.

The optimization of the game is just too bad.

I don’t doubt that the discrepancies you have may very well be because on console the game doesn’t run at constant 60 fps either.

One thing I’m very interested in finding, and have not and have looked everywhere it makes sense that value could be stored, is the movement speed. Haven’t even found the sprint multiplier either. Not saying your speed calculations are incorrect, they very well may be pretty close to the actual value, but all I have found in class definitions are modifiers for whatever the default speed is.

Some values on the game files are also fucked up, for example
For the damage of the AR-W I used 4 coordinates of the curve present on the game files… and guess fucking what? The initial value for distance, is not even 0, is a fucking NEGATIVE value, which means you need to curve to calculate what the damage actually is at distance 0

Have you studied the question of how much silencer actually reduces damage? They are quite fun to play with

I reckon he’s asking because silencers reduce weapon damage, or at least that’s what we’ve always been told.

15% damage reduction
25% recoil reduction

I wonder how still that would make something like the Hammerhead when coupled with Weapons Training. Not worth it imo due to the damage reduction.

Your are precise and your results are good enough. Nobody cares if the damage is 45.9 or 48.48468468.

Same is valid for fire rate, players care about per second, not per minute rate.

All the information player needs to choose weapon are in your tables. You are doing great job exploring and publishing values.
