Davis recently commented on the success of Prey (via Variety ) and how it has opened up the future of the franchise to infinite possibilities.From a Prey 2 to everything from an origin story, another AVP , a new modern-day tale, or “something somewhere in between,” Davis says

“Well, maybe there’s an origin origin story. Right? Maybe there’s another ‘Alien vs. Predator’ story in a different situation. And maybe there’s a new modern-day version. And maybe there’s something somewhere in between. I think this character can show up throughout history.” - Producer Davis
